RIP Reticle QTE's

Anyone else a bit bummed Telltale ditched the reticle attacks? (you know where you would aim at the target and click) I'm not saying I just want reticle attacks like season 1, but the blend they had going since The Wolf Among Us and beyond felt more interactive. I'm making this thread at 1 AM in the morning, so if this thread just sounds stupid, apologies.

  • True...As long as the combos are used more often and not immediately forgotten I'll feel more content.

  • lol honestly I failed the combo the first time because it came out of nowhere. lol I was like "Wait... what?"

  • I was expecting it the entire time when playing. Oh well, maybe we'll see it again if Michonne uses a gun.

  • i didn't really like the QTE's in michonne's game, it seems way too linear, i hope they do things more like the wolf among us where we choose how to interact, eg there was this part where michonne had to throw a cash register at a zombie and i kept dying and it just made me wish i could choose a different approach.

    and yeah i would prefer the reticule approach, all this press "Q" now or instantly die is a bit annoying, maybe the action michonne does is cool, but the way it is done is not cool.

  • I didn't really like that, it takes me out of the moment when the game practically freezes and you have to press multiple buttons for no clear reason. The Wolf Among Us and Season 2 both had very well thought-out and immersive combat systems, and it's weird to see Telltale try to dumb it down.
