"Will remember that" in The Walking Dead: Michonne

edited February 2016 in The Walking Dead

Hi

I recently started playing The Walking Dead: Michonne and learned to my horror, that I can't deactivate those notifications which says "X will remember that". The first thing I did, as soon as I could pause the game, was to open settings and look for the option to turn them off!

I know that some like it, but for me, it totally ruins the experience. I think they're like the added voice over in Blade Runner. The game doesn't let me just focus on the facial expressions of the characters, which you at Telltale have spent so much time on. The game doesn't let me think, but tells me all the time, and I find it seriously frustrating.

You've let us turn it off in the previous seasons of The Walking Dead, and in Tales from the Borderlands. For some reason you didn't let us turn it off in The wolf among us, and now you again don't let us turn it off. I find your games far more beautiful and gripping when your games doesn't tell me these things. Just let us turn them off, please.

What was the reason behind this decision? Will we be able to turn off these notifications in the third season of The Walking Dead, or have you decided to force these notifications on us now?
