What if Luke was the PC for the TWDGS2?
I think that will be plausible since:
1.We know hardly anything about him
2.His the only one without kinship
3.He has an inconsistent character
4.He has many scenes with Clem in all EPS and they become good friends almost instantly
5.He treats Clem on equal footing therefore her character is not undermined.
Do you think the game would have
fared better?

I got my issues with Season 2, more so to the fact focus got taken off Clementine and put more on Kenny and Jane, but the bottom line is that Clementine is the protagonist; it's her story, and that's that. But...that even said, I would have given anything for a chance to play as Luke, a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. He could've easily worked as a protagonist if the right stuff was done with him. The idea you suggest would've been interesting, thinking how the game might've shaped out from a different perspective and being introduced to Clementine in that way too, but it would've come across as too much as repeating Season 1 where you have Lee meeting Clementine and looking out for her again as the protector, except now you're a white guy with a really fancy Picasso nose. In the end, the game seems much better off following Clementine.
But in general, to have had a chance to play as Luke? That would've been sooo good...
(?) Lilacsbloom feels miserable again.
In my own alternate idea of season 2 Luke would be playable, as well as Clem.

If it wasn't Clem it would have had to be Nick.
Nick alrdy has a character arc and development in the game unlike Luke who has neither besides what possible choices can we have with Nick?
A chance to play as Luke would have been so good, but I wouldn't give up Clementine's story (maybe just change it a little ^-^)
Still... Luke was a great character
