I thought it was a great action episode. With tense moments and emotional moments for certain characters

  • Yeah sorry, bit of a brain fart on my end. Read S6E16 for some reason. I do think that episode will be #1 on everyone's list in the future.

But yeah, S6E12 was an awesome adrenaline rush.

  • Ah I see. Will be the most memorable Season finale and episode I believe. If they go the way of the comic

    Eastman: What's your name?

    Morgan Kill me.

Eastman: That's a stupid name. You should change it.

The last 3 were so damn good, post Beth's death to Alexandria was without a doubt the best story arc in the whole show imo. Honourable mentions for the pilots of Season 1 and 2, as well as Judge, Jury and Executioner (S2 E11).
Also, I must be one of the only ones who loved the Hospital episodes.

Your rankings were near perfect for me except I'd switch your numbers 1 and 2 as inverted.

    1. Too Far Gone.
    2. No Way Out.
    3. Not Tomorrow Yet.
    4. No Santuary.
    5. Last Day On Earth.
  • I thought the hospital episodes were great. Easily some of the best of the entire series.

Just look at how people were already calling Last Day On Earth the best..........i kinda feel sad for them.

  • Man, it's times like this I wish I came from an alternate future. But instead, I have to wait several months just to find out who Negan killed.

At the times when they were played..

    1. S6E3 (The one where Glenn was supposed to have died)
    2. S3E3 (The one where all shit goes down at the prison) T Dog died I think.
    3. S2E6 (Would have been no1 if they showed who got killed instead of wussing out.)
    4. S2 18 miles out (where Shane and Rick fight.)
    5. S4E11 Claimed.
    1. What happened and What's Going on (509). Legit the most emotional 45min of my tv watching life. Makes the red wedding look like a bday party.
    2. Clear (312) Not only seeing Morgan without Duane but seeing how different he was in such a short time. And when he told Rick about Duane, that was the best acting I've seen ever.
    3. Coda (508) I connected with this episode and began connecting with Beth immensely throughout her journey outside of the prison. When she finally started to help Noah and doing all the things inside the hospital, it really stuck with me. But nothing stuck with me more than her decision to die then.
    4. Days Gone Bye (101). Besides this episode reintroducing my to the greatness that is Lennie James, it was also a very artistic and emotionally driven episode that was the perfect way to introduce TWD to the masses.
    5. Last Day on Earth (616). I would replace this entry with the episodes focused on the govnor, but looking at the show from beginning to end, it was really beautiful to end season six like this (not talkin about the cliffhanger). Compared to what everyone from the group used to be like, it was almost glorious to see them gain all this confidence over the years just to lose it all in this one episode. Although it was someone's last day on earth, the rest of the crew will have to lose their badass attitude and come back down to earth.
  • S1E1 is called Days Gone By, S1E1 of Fear is called Pilot

1.The Distance (S5E11). Not as popular as others I guess, but I just love the journey. The terrifying night scene paired with Rick hearing the sound of children laughing at Alexandria make this my favorite episode.

    2. Days Gone Bye (S1E1). Oh god it makes me want to cry. Morgan's wife, Rick's coping with the world, every shot, every line. The Distance may be my favorite, but Days Gone Bye is storytelling at its finest.

    3. Better Angels (S2E12). This is the one where Shane and Rick have their final confrontations, and it was just churning out despair and tension! It makes you feel feel sorry for...well just about everyone involved in the episode!

    4. A (S4E16). Maybe the most brutal episode in The Walking Dead thus far. It just screams "Walking dead"!

    5. Thank You (S6E3). The story of a small group of people trying to get back home. And what a terrifying sendoff for Nicholas!

Honorable mentions: TS-19, 18 Miles Out, Made to Suffer, Clear, Internment, No Sanctuary, Self Help, What Happened and What's Going On, No Way Out, Last Day on Earth (It was GOOD, damnit!)

EDIT: Just realized I spent like 30 minutes comparing episodes to one another for a single forum post.

  • Omg Cherokee rose. Oh no. That episode I loved so much

Personally ^-^ ~ 1: Clear 2: Cherokee Rose 3: Days gone bye 4: No way out 5: Vatos
