How do you think *****'s first kill is gonna effect him? (Season 6 Spoilers)

edited March 2016 in The Walking Dead

First off, I want to say that I praise the way the show handled it. They didn't make killing seem like an easy thing - but showed it for what it realistically is - traumatizing and unnatural.

I think Glen will become more hardened by what he has had to do. Unlike the others, Glen has been pretty lucky up 'till now. In some ways he's been kinda sheltered - at least when it comes to taking a human life.

I think this will make him more pragmatic, instead the bright and optimistic person he has been portrayed as since this whole show began.

Up until now, if you don't count that incident between Maggie and Governor, Glen has never really gone "to the Dark side" - if you will. I think that is all about to change.

I think in Season 7, if Negan doesn't kill him, I think he's going to be a very different person.

  • Nope. I think it'd have more of an emotional effect. I'm hoping he'll always hate killing people. It'd seem really forced if his morals suddenly changed after one kill.

  • I'm sure it'll effect him and he wont be as positive as he was, that's if Negan doesnt kill him.

Although, I feel like Glenn is sort of safe now, they just pulled a fake out death, they might have just started a new arch with him killing the Saviors, and they might want to have Glenn be a father in the show, unless they flip it around and make Negan kill Maggie.

  • I hope not.

If Glenn changed from his bright sunny self I might cry an ocean of tears.
