Is ***** gonna die in the Season Finale when ****** shows up?
Okay so for a while, there has been rumors flying around that Daryl is going to be the one who ends up on the chopping block. And it also sounds like Neagan is gonna make his first appearance in the Season finale.
But I personally don't see that happening, Daryl being killed off, as for one thing he is such a fan favorite among many, and thus has become an intricate part of the series.
Also, he has become Rick's right-hand man, and best friend. He has been the one who has kept Rick in check, who has kept Rick from going totally over the edge and from crossing a line that he would never be able to come back from.
Plus, Daryl is a completely original character. From what I've heard - he does not appear whatsoever in The Walking Dead comic series. So I think, given that fact, that he has the best chance of surviving of any character in the series. So I think they could keep him around, while still staying true to the spirit of the comic book series.
Personally, I think it's either going to be Glenn, or Abraham. I like both of those characters, but from what I've heard, both of them die in the comic book series so seems to me that they might possibly be Expendable in the TV series as well.

It will be glenn most likely but still
none of those are reasons why daryl couldnt die. In fact these are more reasons why it could be him, the death has to be a huge impact to the group.
Still I think its will be glenn due to him being more innocent.
But it definitely wont be abe, unless the tv writers totally dont understand the scene it wont be him then
I am not exactly thrill that Glenn might be the one who bites it. He spent most of the first half of the season assumed dead. Then he turns out to be alive and then he might get killed for real when Negan shows up.
I think Daryl's death might have the impact. That or Morgan.
Daryl honestly has a really big chance of being the one who is killed. One of the biggest give away is that his contract for Season 7 has still not been confirmed. On top of that, Dwight now has Daryl's crossbow, a crossbow is also Dwight's signature weapon, so killing Daryl would also let Dwight keep the crossbow.
Also, I feel like it was more of a group effort to bring Rick back.
And finally, Possible Spoilers for the next episode: Abraham is most likely going to be killed by Dwight this Sunday. This half of the season has been alot like the comics, and based on the next time, it looks like its going to be time for Abraham. And for Glenn, I feel like the Show writers know that making the whole fake out death, just to kill him in the same season would just make everyone really mad for how badly it was handled.
I am wondering. From a storytelling standpoint, what was the reasoning for the whole fake out death for Glenn?
Him being a fan favorite and being Rick's right hand man are all pretty good reasons as to why Daryl could (and should) be killed by Negan in the season finale. In the comics, Negan kills Glenn, an intricate member of the group, beloved by most fans, and was considered the sort of right hand man to Rick, and that's what made his introduction in the comics so memorable. The TV show Glenn isn't as well liked (he's still liked, but not like his comic counterpart) and has already had numerous run-ins with death, especially in Season 6. Killing him off after his fake out death earlier in the season would feel really cheap and stupid. Daryl has basically become the comic Glenn equivalent in the show, his death would be shocking, which would make Negan's introduction all the more memorable, as well as establish him as the big bad guy that we know he is, and reinforce the ever waning idea that anyone, even main characters, can die in this show.
Show off their special effects? Fail to show reason on how characters can magically do FaZe 180s when in danger? They wanted dumpster memes on the internet? Reason for him to be outside of the walls?
I don't know honestly, seemed unnecessary.
It's definitely between Daryl and Glenn. But Maggie and Carol's names are being thrown around, but they're definitely an unlikely chance.
I've always said it's been Glenn, because if he doesn't die via Lucille, then no other death would be sufficient enough, he's survived nearly every other thing, it builds up to the fact he can't survive Negan.
But, Daryl also makes sense. In the comics, the purpose was to kill a popular character and shock everyone. Daryl more than fulfils that role. Daryl dying would also affect Carol's character which may lead to her also having a similar death to her comic character. Daryl's death would fit within the story so it fits with the story.
Abraham may die, but it won't be in this scene
Either they wanted to see fan reactions, which they got, or if they decide to show how to be bad writers, they did it to shock comic readers if Glenn dies from Negan.
Personally, if Glenn gets killed by Negan Id just be disappointed by the writers for doing that, it would just feel cheap and stupid.
Agreed! Daryl being a relevant character only rises his chance of dying at the hands of Negan, and he will have even more character development in Episode 14, as shown on the sneak peaks.
If they want to loose over half of their viewers go ahead and kill Daryl. he is not my favorite character but he is atleast one of the ones that isn't annoying and is ok with KILLING the villains, but I think it is more then likely going to be Glenn, they let him live to make false hope just so that they can take him away again, that or Carol perhaps.
I hope so. I don't want Glenn to die.
Why do alot of people think if Daryl dies then the viewership willl tank? If anything that will increase ratings.
For me personally, it's gotta be between Glenn and Daryl, it's important that the character that gets the death is a signifcant character, it can't be someone like Morgan or Abhram, or Negan's introduction won't be as impactful.
It's hard to to say which one will get it. They've foreshadowed the death for both characters, so I don't know, but I want it to be Daryl, it would be more iimpactful than Glenn.
I dont wannna make the **** jokes like I did last time but Glenn shouldn't die

Sounds like his contract might've been renewed, according to the video.
I know personally I don't want Daryl, Rick, or Carol to bite the bullet.
They are my three favorite characters on the show.
Since Morgan has become such an idealist, I could almost see him being killed by Neagan. Morgan's character right now kinda serves as ray of hope - not just regarding the group, but well, for humanity in general. Dale and Hershel, in my opinion, their characters embodied some of the best what people can be, in spite of their flaws. And look what happened to them!

The day they kill Daryl the day thousands upon thousands of angry prepubescent/teenage girls riot and storm AMC headquarters
Sounds like at least one of them will!
I hope it's Daryl, I like him and all but he's the most overrated character in TWD.
The only thing is, Norman Reedus has lied many times about Walking Dead, or by "appearing" it will just be his corpse.
I feel like Morgan would work if he was killed, but the only thing is he isn't "loved" by everyone.
Although if Morgan was killed by Negan, they could use that for why Rick decides not to kill Negan, because its what Morgan would have wanted.
Theyre not going to lose half their viewers. I like Daryl and I want him to stick around but I think people greatly exaggerate his popularity.
He used to be. I hate that people have now turned on him like fair weather fans.
If character deaths made shows lose their views then explain Game of Thrones, Teen Wolf and The Walking Dead itself etc. These shows and many alike have gotten lots of characters killed and have only increased in viewership - You don't have any proof that Daryl's death would decrease the view counts by any significant amount :x
Plus, I don't think it's Carol since I believe Negan doesn't like hitting women?
That makes perfect sense. I understand that in the Comics, Negan was kept prisoner by Rick. And since Rick will kill anyone who harms him or his family - the entire group, he would have to have a damn god reason to not do so.
Listen carefully to his ulogy involving Dale.

Regarding Teen Wolf, they've brought back nearly every dead character apart from Allison and Aiden. But I agree, people say that "they'll riot if Daryl dies" but the majority of people will still continue to watch the show.
I feel like it has to be Daryl or Glenn who dies in the finale. If it's Abraham then it won't be that impacting. We haven't really seen much of Morgan (unfortunately) so I doubt he will die and it's the same with Carol and Maggie; they're safe.
I just hope they do it well. I would hate for them to end the episode just as Negan swings Lucille; it would be really cheap if they did that.
Gimple has said before he would like to stay true to the source material for this season. I feel like Glenn's near death experiences are just taunting you before his death. (potentially)
But basically whoever gets killed will have a big impact on the group and make rick vow for revenge. And whatever the outcome it is suppose to shock the audience and show the brutallity of Negan and the Saviours.
"Which one of your pricks is the leader?"
And if Daryl dies and you stop watching you're an idiot and not a real fan of the show. Too many fangirls
And we still have 2 episodes before Finale so i'm along for the ride. I do like to speculate but im just watch and be surprised at what happens. Even if that person is glenn like in the comic i'll still be shocked as it's on TV, in front of my very eyes.
Overall im excited to see Negan on my tv screen.
I think it'll either be Glenn or Daryl but most likely Glenn. The fact that he's a father to be would make his death more brutal and tragic than Daryl's.
C'mon multiple important side characters dying. These guys have been running around with only their emotions getting hurt. It's time for the good guys to start dying. Daryl, Carol, and Glenn hahaha!.... Also that one dude with the broken arm.
Well, all people can talk about is who is going to die, Glenn or Daryl, and its probably going to be that way until the finale. I hope neither of them dies, now that would be a twist!
Glenn was the one who was killed in the comics. However if they go with his death in the because of his fake death early in this series (I think it was ep5) the shock value won't be there I feel. but it should be tragic because he is going to be a father. they should go with it that way.
however If Daryl dies its going to be shock value. and there will probuablly be a lot of upset fan girls. for sure.
they got the perfect actor to play him. he is going to be amazing.
A bad twist
Not in my opinion. If Glenn Dies, I will riot.
Just a friendly question; would you actually go on the streets and start causing trouble, or do you mean that in a non-literal way? I've always been puzzled as to whether people are serious when they say that.
No, not literally, Im not a basket case. I dont intend to go throwing burning trashcans through store windows. More like shaking my fists at the sky and then collapsing into a sobbing mess. But seriously, I cant handle the thought of Glenn dying like he does in the comic. Kirkman, that monster.
If there is a cliffhanger at the end of this episode i am going to be furious
Every character death on the show has been switched so i don't think it will be Glenn
