I'm sorry I talk a lot with Clementine's age, but I realized something strange.
Season 1: Clementine said she is studying in grade 1.
I'm wrong? Her age should not be 8, its age should be 6 or 7. See entry:

How Stranger said she was 9? Clementine lied to him and said she was 9. Children lie. So who Clementine told a lie? For Lee or the Strange? I think she knew that Stranger is bad, she told a lie. She not 9.
She does not know how old she is, in season 1 She probably at the age of 6 or 7 (that She in grade 1) and therefore season 2 She 9 or 10. She also looks like this. (If She 11, is low and small for her age.)
So what do you think? (Sorry for my English)

She could have started school later. By season 2 she may well have forgotten or not be sure. It's never really said if she told the stranger she was 9. Just when her birthday was

It's likely a writer's oversight, especially when involved with writing a large script for a large project. Overlooking an error with a character's profile and whether they're really old enough to be in a certain position can happen more often than not. Either that or Clementine was held back a grade or two, which is not likely due to how smart she is for her age.
Why would she lie about her age and what would she even gain from lying? If she was nine by the time she met the Stranger, then she passed her birthday at that point. As for why she didn't mention her birthday, it's likely because she didn't want to make a big fuss over it.
Children come in many different height and build, and will not always look their age. If Clementine looks younger than a nine year old, it doesn't mean she's not actually nine.
Well I'm guessing she is 11; two years and a bit after her turning nine she would be 11. Also the fact she thinks she's 11. Not that it matters that much

A little girl does not know what the exact date is not to have a calendar in front of her eyes. Stranger does not know how old she is, without her to tell him. I think she really does not know how old she is, but that's about 6-11 over two seasons.
Maybe she did tell the Stranger since she trusts him because he said he could find her parents yes?

It was summer when the game started, Clem finished 1st grade, she wasn't in 2nd grade yet, so she still said she was in 1st grade. Meaning Clem is 8, then turns 9, then 2 years later turns 11.

Just because she looks that age does not mean is that age. When I was in 6th grade way back at my elementary school, there was a kid in 1st grade that was taller than me.

cuteclem you are either the biggest troll on these forums, or you have a really weirdly specific obsession, you must have talked about this hundreds of times on these forums, and the answer is very clear no matter how much you disagree, she was 8 at the start of season one, she had her birthday during season one, the start of season two is two years 4 months since the start of the apocalypse making clementine 11 at the start of season two (from the campfire onwards) because season two starts almost exactly two years after Lee died, from what i can tell her birthday is 25th october, Lee dies 1-2 of november, Clementine and christa are at the campfire on 1st of november two years later.
