Am I the only one who cried when Sarah died?
I mean, seriously. She was defenseless, damn near to mentally broken, and almost no-one gave a shit about her. They did almost nothing to help her except Jane going down there (determinantly, if Clem tells her to) and Bonnie and Mike shooting TWO WALKERS ONLY. THEY HAD AMMO!!! And when she was screaming "DADDY!" when she died, I literally bawled and wouldn't stop bawling until the platform collapsed. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK?!

I did feel really bad. It sort of hurts me to see children suffer brutal deaths in games. It hurt me that the writers didn't show any care and just wanted to get rid of her. And I'm also appalled when people say that they hate her and she died because she was "weak".
That second death was bad, really bad. I didn't cry, but I did feel sad for her. She deserved better, if at least a better second death.
It hurts me to see children die in general.
That's called "shitty writing"
Anyone who says that is a heartless bastard.
No one should be rude here. I was so upset that she died. They always blamed her on the escape plan ruined when she REALLY wasn't. If anything, Sarah didn't kill ANYONE. Jane deserved to die for ruinning her character.
Agreed.
When was I being rude?
Agreed.
Double agreed.
I meant to the ones who hate/dislike Sarah
Oh ok. Agreed.
I didn't cry but I wasn't happy that she died either.
NOPE. I fucking lost it. i was crying so much that I actually failed knocking the deck over because I wasn't paying attention.
Wow.
I liked Sarah a lot. She was sweet, naive, but sweet. I cried when she died; it wasn't fair how they wrote what happened to her. I really hoped that having Clem show her how to shoot a gun would become useful in the future but I guess the writers just scrapped that idea.
Agreed.
It was sad at the deck but at the trailer I laughed because when she says, "Clementine?", she knows she fucked up.
Must we bring Jane into this? The writers ruined her character.
Ok, are you spying on me or what?
It's Jane's fault because she made that offer with Luke. If she NEVER made that offer, they wouldn't have been caught off guard and Sarah would still be alive.
Well, she was my favourite character so far. I didn't "literally" cried when she died (only with Duck and Katjaa's death) but i felt really bad. I was hoping to see Clem and Sarah at the end like sisters taking care of AJ...
Also, the first Sarah's death was really messed up. Who can people just leave a mental-problem child get eaten alive?
You think that's funny?! I saw a video of her being left behind at the trailer park, it was fucked up.
Her and Nick had the most potential out of all the cabin survivors. I thought Carlos's death would've made her stronger, and that teaching her how to shoot would actually pay off. Did her death make me cry? No. I was frustrated and annoyed on how little impact saving her from the trailer park had on the story. I also find it hard to believe how all the adults in the group (especially Luke and Rebecca) had no emotion when a 15-year-old, mentally unstable girl died right in front of them. If they wanted to kill her off so damn badly, atleast have the group pull her out the deck and dig her up a grave, so they could've all mourned her before they left the museum. Overall, it would've been nice to see her stick around much longer. Not to mention the Salty Seas song that plays for the credits for Amid The Ruins was a great tribute to her.
DAMN RIGHT!!!
I cried at the writing.
I was sad but I kind of felt it was inevitable that her character would die.
Yeah, because of how shitty it was.
That's sad, but also true ;_;
Bingo.
The ones who are complete assholes who only care for themselves just like Jane
THIS!!!
She was clearly intended to die at the trailer, the game makes much more sense if that happens
Im a sick person
No shit.
I felt sad when I left her, she said 'Clementine?' right before get eaten, I only did that because I tought it was a choice between she or Jane ( I know, I'm stupid ). But she dies anyways so I guess it doesn't really matters.
What? Did Jane ruin Sarah's character, or did the writers ruin her character? I don't get why you are blaming Jane, if she was the one who could end up risking her own life and getting hit on the head by a plot device wood plank if she helped Sarah.
By the way, remember that if Sarah made it that far—like in my playthrough—it was because of Jane. All Clem did was tell Jane what to do.
And remember, Mike and Bonnie at least took down a couple of walkers. Luke just stared and screamed Sarah's name for dramatic purposes.
I found Sarah very annoying, so no, I didn't feel sad at all (but I didn't leave her in the caravan).
I think I meant to say Jane caused Sarah to die, no doubt.
Why did they stop? That's the question. There is no way they ran out of ammo. They just stood there like freaking idiots.
I like Sarah's character, I saw the name of this thread and decided to add my two cents. You know since this is a SARAH thread that is about SARAH...
I can't bring myself to make that choice, it just makes my Clementine a bad character even though it affects nothing.
Luke could've easily declined. You know his job was to check the perimeter for walkers, not to check up on what Jane was doing on the deck.
They are both idiots. Happy?
Very
