I hate Luke and Rebecca.
Luke is a numb nut, and Rebecca is just a black Larry, (shrugs).

I like both
Let's throw down
I love Luke and Rebecca.
I don't quite understand why 'Rebecca is a black Larry'. Yeah, she was an ass the first episode but she changes and even apologizes. It's ok if you hate her, I just wanna know why you made the comparison.
Troll thread.
Luke was a bit dull but a good person. Rebecca was one of the better side characters in the second series.
Ok
Luke was your generic baby face good guy. They didn't build much on his character to be any more than that. Rebecca however is realistic but I'd have preferred if they kept Omid and Christa.
It's funny how in the past I would have argued this, but now I feel that I'm not as connected as I am with Luke and Rebecca as I thought I was.
Luke was set up to be the deuteragonist in his debut until Kenny and Jane came along, and then he slowly lost his status and importance until he was just another character to help fill up the death count, and he was eventually forgotten. His biggest accomplishment, chasing after Carver's men who took his friends hostage, and refusing to abandon them or stop to take a break, was quickly brushed aside to make way for making Luke appear incompetent as his radio smuggling plan nearly gets a fan favorite character killed. Throughout the season, I felt that the writers didn't know what to do with Luke, and eventually threw up their hands and decided to toss him aside at the finale. I was hoping for him to gain a role, continue the brother-and-sister dynamic with Clementine, or show some depth in his character, but in the end I found him to be one of the most boring characters in the TWD universe.
Rebecca was introduced as someone who was very willing to let a child die in a shed out of suspicion that she's a part of Carver's group (which is shown to not have many children at all in Episode 3, surprisingly), and the next episode does a 180 flip on this stance and suddenly she's friend with Clementine now, and the story never addresses her horrible attitude she exhibited before again. I may not hate her, but I don't buy the 'bond' she had with Clementine throughout Season 2, who she was very keen to let die for a suspected walker bite, for the crime of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, and come the next episode the story wants me to forget that and build a happy relationship with her.
Both characters just didn't work for me in the end.
Luke good.
Rebecca bad.
Didn't like her from the first meeting outside the house.

no no Luke may have been dumb as hell in Episode 4 and 5 but he was one of the coolest you can chill with in real life
Rebecca on the other hand was a straight up bitch even if Clementine was proven to not be bitten she still acted like one. Idk why they forced us to like her when I clearly never did but she did kind of grew on me in Episode 4. Doesn't change that she's a bitch.
Well, Larry was always griping at Lee for his bad past, refusal to give him food (determinat), insulting Brenda (determinat). Rebecca does the same type things to Clementine.
I liked Rebecca a lot in the end, but I agree that her relationship with Clementine was messy and inconsistent. She can even tell Clem that she's her favorite person in the entire world. Just a week after saying that Clem would be dead if it was up to her. I understand that relationships can change for the better, but it's never that quick.
Edit: It was supposed to say "I understand".
What annoyed me the most about Rebecca was how she apologized to Clementine on Episode 2:
She merely says: "Hey, Clem. Sorry if I gave you some shit back there. I'm just a little on edge. It's just a tough time right now, with the pregnancy and all. You and Alvin can probably relate."
Her apology doesn't seem to properly address, or at the very least appear superficial since it undermines her needlessly cruel treatment towards a scared eleven year old she's just met with a nasty bite wound on her arm, and how she was advocating her death the entire night to the point where she can determinately try to grab Nick's rifle and almost get Clementine shot if Clementine wakes up and says nothing.
But only for one episode because the episode 2 writers ignored how she was introduced in the previous episode. At least Larry was consistant.
Luke is so overrated but I have nothing against Rebecca
Luke risked his butt to save Clem when they first met and besides dropping her due to a misunderstanding, he was pretty chill. Just a overall good guy. Rebecca sucks imo, but she apologized so whatever. All is forgiven, just don't do it again mentality.
I like Rebecca, hate Luke, after ep 4 of season 2 I couldn't stand the character.
Yeah, If I were Clem, I'd probably let Luke die on the bridge, (shrugs).
Mmmk?
Technically, Rebecca was consistent for three episodes (2-4)
K
Aight.
Well, that's just too bad for you.
No it's not.. It's good for me.
Pssh whatever brah,
