Theory: Live Like An Adult

Hey! I have a very interesting theory, perhaps some of you will think it silly, but I think this is genius.

enter image description here

So start this way: Season 2, is not realistic. Things were realistic, but everything around adults and children, did not have much realistic. Clementine is a little girl in a terrible apocalypse. She lived with a group of adults. There are no small children her age. A girl aged 11, can not really break down the door, rescued from a gun in the shoulder and a lot of things that were not realistic. I can say that the door was loose and coat of Clementine prevented the bullet to penetrate the skin. (Sorry for the English.) But there is something beyond:

It is known that children love to feel bigger, kids want to grow up, children learn adults, they have a great imagination. at the first season, we knew everyone Clementine creative and has great imagination - a very clever girl. Clementine did not really do all the dangerous things in the game.

In a game, we basically see everything from the perspective of Clementine. Clementine is together with adults in a very long time. Psychologically, Clementine did not feel like a little girl (even though it seems that physiologically.), The similarity of Clementine, is it that makes us see her doing things that adults (like smoking for example.), Season 1, when we were Lee, everything was realistic, though there was not realistic, because we have seen from the perspective of Lee, at the age of 37. Clementine is a child , and throughout the game, We see the world in her eyes, the world that she has built for herself. Because it is said to Sarah, "we can not be children anymore." Clementine's mental strength, because that she simply does not see herself a scared little girl, she sees herself as one that helps everyone and do all the tasks (all in her imagination.), My theory is, we do not really know what happened when we're inside the head of Clementine. She sees herself as the heroine, so she gets out of this world depression. Others say that adults sent Clementine missions that did not see her little girl, more fair restitution little heroine. They take advantage of her. But no, the little girl just thought of herself as an adult and it was nice for her to imagine that she saves all the problems. There were times, Clementine stopped imagine trying to save Alvin (when she wanted to Carver.) But she failed and nearly killed by Carver. You see? Clementine is a very clever a child, creative, and to the theory, Clem not really doing all the things not realistic. She wanted to help, she wanted to prove herself, apparently adults do not really sent her tasks and she decided to imagine everything. Children imagine, and my sister, psychologist, so I know.

Hope you understand me, because my English is not good. This ingenious me, do not think they're stupid, there beyond, seen from the perspective of a little girl, it's different seeing from the perspective of an older man like Lee. So what do you think? :)

That is not my opinion nor my theory, just what @CuteClem said.

  • Sorry I did not understood your theory, can you try to re-explain it to me?

  • Their theory is that whatever unrealistic things that Clementine did in Season 2 comes from her imagination. She actually didn't do those things but she imagines that she does because she wants to be like an adult.

Also the jacket blocked the bullet for some reason I don't know.

  • The bullet went through her shoulder. That isn't fatal.

A bullet going straight through the body of a child isn't fatal?

The bullet went through her shoulder. That isn't fatal.

  • Not if it doesn't hit anything vital.

  • It doesn't have to hit anything to be. Blood loss

Kenny or Jane obviously stopped the bleeding while Clem was out of it.

  • @Clemenem They did stop the bleeding. You can see white strips under the hole on her jacket after Clementine wakes up, even though they weren't there when she was shot. That means that Kenny and Jane worked as a team for once!

Its a game so I give it a bit of a pass but really, it could easily have killed her and even if it didnt some of the shot would have got internally lodgedand unable to be removed, infected and then she would have died. That distance with that shotgun would have at least put her out of action once the immediate adrenaline was gone. Clementine pretty much forgets about the gunshot after waking up.

Look at when carl was shot in season 2 of the show, that is what should have happened if they were being accurate

  • So basically you're saying it was all in her head.
The only problem is is that it completely makes S2 useless. It basically sets us as players back to square one. Which makes it a waste of time and effort.
