Save files from episode 1 are gone

I played the first episode when it came out about a month ago, and finished it, now attempting to start the second episode that came out today, and my all my save files are gone. I haven't uninstalled or reinstalled the game in any way, and I have not made any changes to the files either. my steam cloud settings show there's a save file there, and cloud saving was enabled already in-game, but the game is not syncing with the cloud save, i'll have to either start all the way from episode 1, or let the game generate the choices for me :-(

    Same thing happened to me on my Ps3, when I logged into my PlayStation Account it said that my Files were corrupted and was recreated them.

    That's the exact problem I had on my ps3 where my save data for episode 1 is all gone where I ain't starting all over again for the game. Ruined my day tbh...

    Same thing happened to me on steam... And it seems it happened to a lot of people there. Wonder if it's a problem with having the Steam Cloud + telltale cloud save. sigh

    Same here on steam, I think it had something to do with the cloud sync, hopefully it wont happen in ep 3.

    Unrelated to Michonne, but this happened to me on S2, after I finished Episode 4 my choices were deleted and I had to use random ones because I didn't want to replay. It is sad to hear these bugs are still happening with newer games. I hope Telltale gets this straightened out by S3.

    Actually this made me stop playing Telltale games where frame rate issues wasn't enough, this type of c*** happen to me and most people doesn't deserve to deal with that. Annoying and a Shane for those who just want to play episode 2 of no issues what so ever. D**** it Telltale get it together!

    f*ck this, i am just gonna leave the game a while until i mostly forget it, then play it all in one go, it should only take about 4.5 hours anyway

    The same thing just happend to me. I bought the game on Steam sale. I played through episode one yesterday. Today when I went to play the second episode everything appeared as the first time I started the game. Cloud Saves where enabled and my ttg account was enabled. I've opened a ticket.

    Started the game with the intentions of trying to disable cloud save and perhaps enable it agan and then the "talking to server" took a really long time this time and now all my choices and my savegames are back. Server issues perhaps?

    ps; I off steam cloud, it's not helping, my saves busted.

    upd I deleted the folder where saves files and disabled Steam Cloud.

    I downloaded the game again. Passed episode 2. And now I can not play any more because every episode is written "soon", even in the episode 2 that I just passed. I think I finally broke the game :\
