Happy St. Petrus MEp2 (Muchos Spoilers)

After playing episode 2 of Michonne The Walking Dead there was really only one question on my mind: how the hell is Pete still not happy?
Sure, I can understand he was a tad ticked off when I stopped him from having a polite conversation with a bunch of angry people wielding semi-automatics while he had a hunting knife and got marked as an aggressive assailant practicing escapism, but reading that sentence again I think I can mark him an idiot in the first place.
Nevertheless, for the benefit of this topic let me not continue to call him an idiot based on his idiotic behavior in idiotic situations in which his perspective is idiotic, because that all comes down to my own opinion. Really, I am heading for a serious question here so resist just wee bit longer.
The part that throws me off is when I grab the walky, try to have a fairly decent conversation and stir it into a peaceful direction (a.k.a. yes you can have your brother back in trade for leaving us alone). Sounds pretty damn peaceful (and kind of idiotic if you think about it) and diplomatic no? But there's Pete going: "I knew you wouldn't listen to me!"
Bru... Seriously?
So yes, if anyone did manage to create a Happy St. Petrus I'd be thrilled to find out how.

Well, this actually funny because if you let him talk he actually convinces them to STOP and nobody dies.
Then I suppose my topic wording choice was valid :P
But, in the case you didn't... I'm still curious if you can change his mind in the other scene.
I think it might be a glitch. I think he's only supposed to say that if you don't answer the radio.
