Comic vs TV Series Counterparts

Obviously the AMC series diverges from its source material sometimes, giving us different characters with different personalities in different outcomes! (And unnecessary cliffhangers, but we don't need to talk about that right now :D)

Which counterparts do you guys like better, whether in the comic or the show? Here are some comparisons that I thought were interesting:

  • Rick vs Rick, both supreme leaders but with differing views on the world.
  • Michonne (TV) vs Andrea (Comics), Rick's love interests and strong fighters
  • Bob (TV) vs Dale (Comics), both victims to the Hunters/Terminus residents
  • Daryl vs Abraham (Comics), Rick's right hand men
  • Enid (TV) vs Sophia (Comics)
  • Gabriel vs Gabriel
  • Gareth (TV) vs Chris, the Hunter (Comics)

Just wondering what you guys thought!

    Rick lost his right hand in the comics, didn't he?

    1. If we are going by current Rick in the comics, show Rick definitely. However current show Rick vs. what comic Rick was like then, it's comic Rick.
    2. Probably comic Andrea.
    3. They were never really fighters but Bob I guess since he is younger.
    4. Abraham from the comics is really tough, so I'm giving it to him.
    5. Sophia probably.
    6. TV Gabriel I think.
    7. Can't really decide, I guess Gareth?

    Oh, sorry I didn't mean to say as if they were battling each other! I wouldn't want to put poor old Dale through that. I just meant in terms of which characters or counterparts you liked more! I knew versus was the wrong term!
