I think you mean April.
Fixed that. Thank you for pointing it out!
I think there would be a choice of saving either Sam or James and Alex (both), when the house sets on fire.
I believe it was @Poogers555 who pointed out that one of the adults could've dressed as Randall in order to surprise-attack Norma and the Monroe inhabitants. Were this the case, I reckon that you'd be forced to go along with the plan if you killed Randall. However, if Randall is still alive, whether it is a good or bad one could be a minor choice, allowing you to trade him truthfully.
Now, you see Pete, Michonne and Sam in this picture, thus making Paige the one disguised, which would explain why Sam has a vague concerned look. It is understood that all of this only applies if that plan actually happens.
The quote I placed earlier comes into play. Doesn't it kind of suggest that Zachary would kill Randall if he had the chance? Imagine if he took the chance and attempted to shoot him during the stand-off, having talked to Jonas earlier about taking off. That would mean he could really kill him in some cases, but in others, he unknowingly shot Paige before she could deliver the attack to Norma. Zachary and Jonas would them escape, leaving Norma enraged because he killed her brother, and Sam affected because of the loss of her girlfriend/friend/etc.
In the playthroughs that you allowed Sam to kill Zachary, Paige would successfully attack Norma. I don't have any solid prediction on what would happen in this case. I don't like building up theories just because.
Although this prediction technically wouldn't be considered a "choice," it is built-up off past choices, which is something that Telltale Games implied in the trailer and blog post, while showing pictures of Sam about to kill Zachary, and Randall before determinantly being killed. The stats after the episode would then tell you what percentage of players had the same situation as you.
You and W% of players had Zachary kill Paige.
You and X% of players had Zachary kill Randall.
You and Y% of players had Paige attack Norma.
You and Z% of players traded Randall to Norma.
Love this, kinda hope it happens.
I personally predict there will be a choice to make pancakes and for everyone to live in harmony.
Oven catches fire. House burns down.
Didn't think she'd actually find my crew.
NO BERTO!!
Definitely think this would be a cool way to branch of the episode into choices. I hope it matters if you leave Pete with Norma since they seemed to be getting along more than michonne and Norma. Maybe Petes presence has an effect on if his crew survives as a whole or not. I mean the only canon ones are Pete and siddique. They could kill Berto and oak if we kept Pete with us and killed Zachary and Randall.
I know I will not sacrifice Paige so I am determined to trade Randall and keep everyone alive.
They can kill the kids. I don't care about James or Alex. Their dad made them weak and michonne can't deal with no weakness
I think the biggest and most overlooked choice will be whether you brought Pete with you or not. I feel that telltales canon choice would be to leave Pete with Norma, and that's kinda why the episode is just Sam and Michonne for the cover art.
I think Pete is the best chance at having a mutual trust between michonne and Norma and being the catalyst to trading people without anyone getting hurt. Granted that 80% of ppl brought Pete they may tweek it but i think he's our best hope.
I second that! While they did a great job with a character with determinant status such as Pete—alive or unknown—his comments and remarks did feel like they didn't fit, for me at least. Still, they've improved a lot since The Walking Dead: Season 2.
I agree with that idea, too. Pete could really help Norma understand the situation.
