But if you choose Davos over Stannis, then that would mean Stannis is alive. And as long he is, Davos would follow.
So you would follow Stannis aswell :^)
I hope not. I love Sam to death but I cant stand watching people throw up. I do love him with baby Sam. I hope his mother and sister are kind. We know his father is an asshole.
Well, they did show boobs in ep1, why so bitter?
I don't think there'll be much beloved gratitious nudity after the scandalous rape scene for a couple of seasons, we better get used to it, people.
"Almost" is the key word. Same happened to Sansa in S01, to Dany in previous episode, to Mira by Karl the Fookin Legend, to lots of characters basically. And it wasn't a heralding start to a series of technically legal rapes of increasing levels of sadism which only Gods knew would stop or not.
What happened to him was just as brutal as what we saw happen to Sansa, and we hardly saw anything because they cut away, but noone cared because he's Theon and a man, is what I think.

I love Davos so much!
And Tormunds hug! Love it. Also, am I the only one that actually felt bad for Alliser? I felt, YES OLLYS DOWN, but Alliser, i Don't know. Always liked him!
9/10
I agree. Olly was a little messed up kid who was beyond saving.
Thorne was an asshole but his last words were very noble and respectable. I also liked his justification for killing Jon in episode 1. He did what he thought was right and faced the consequences.
Olly's the bitch. He basically did 3 things throughout the series. Cough killing of fan favourites cough
* Killed Ygritte
* Mutiny aga… moreinst the lurd cummandah
* Delievered the final blow to Jon Snow.
He's just a messed-fucking-up kid who gets manipulated and does everything the smart men tells 'im.
Alliser followed orders, he did mutiny against Jon, yes., but he was a respected arsehole of the Night's Watch. And no matter what anyone says, I respect his last speech. It was very well-said. He fought, he lost and now he may rest.
R.I.P. Alliser Thorne 2011 - 2016
Well, this season is going very well so far. Roose Bolton is dead, Balon Greyjoy is dead, and those traitor cunts are dead. All that's left is Ramsay, the High Sparrow, the Night's King, the Sand Snakes, and Walder Frey
I think you can cross Ramsay, High Sparrow and maybe the Sand Snakes off by the end of Season 6. Cersei might live to 7.
Since there are supposedly only 13 episodes after this season, I wouldn't be surprised if they only focused on the Night's King and the other Wight Walkers in the last season(s).

Tommen is a lost cause XD.
Jon Snow even if he comes back from the Death, knows nothing.
Jaime and Cersei burned by the small council XD.
Seeing Vaes Dothrak in the opening made me feel nostalgic about the first season :').
Yeah, for me, the best parts of the books are all those little innocuous connections you get to make through the different POVs and what they perceive in the world around them. And then what you can percieve that the characters themselves may not.
It's such an intricate story, that so many details get left by the wayside each time a character gets cut (small or large) or a storyline gets changed for the show. It's sad really.

I get that but it really is unavoidable. They cant put every character in the show, its too much work and over complicated. Many casual watchers struggle as it is

Well, I thought his last speech was just him still trying to justify what he did, and it made me mad quite frankly
Because he thought he was right, the wildlings have raided and destroyed/raped and pillaged south of the wall for centuries and the watch has tried to keep them back and jon just let a bunch of them through, Its already possibly got his youngest brother killed indirectly. Thorne was wrong sure but thats only because we know the wights are coming. Thorne isnt evil he just made a harsh call
Well, I thought his last speech was just him still trying to justify what he did, and it made me mad quite frankly. Its like saying, "Im nev… moreer going to admit I was wrong, not to you."
I dont know how people can be mad at Olly for killing Ygritte. Wasnt she the one who killed his father, she killed Pyp, and she almost killed Jon.
So someone pointed out Jon snow now literally know nothing. He knows after death there is just nothing. Thats why he looked so bothered in the last scene, he knows hes sending the traitors to nothing.
Another good episode. Loved how it started with very heavy breathing, Jon Snow and Ser Davos taking in everything that is happening, As I was doing the same with the breathing, Waiting to see Jon Snow say his first words, is he different? Is he still Jon Snow?
"They think you're some kind of god"
Melisandre seeing that Stannis wasn't the prince that was promised. Is Jon the promised Prince? The Tower of Joy battle hinting at a possible Jon Snow birth? Lyanna's in that tower - Who knows..
I think public rage kinda accumulated at that moment. I shrugged Theon moment off because it was interrupted, like many other, people didn't riot over Dany's marital rape scene, reeeally didn't (I swear, If I see that bloody MotherOfDragons.gif again...), and remember that one time in front of Joffrey's corpse?
Also, again, Sansa's case was quite graphic and just went on and on, that's why even people who weren't pissed about Dany's similar case joined the pissed ranks. And I'm more worried about people who aren't disturbed about both cases CUZ IT CAN'T BE RAPE IF THEY'RE MARRIED RITE? lots of those puddingbrains in russian fandom, for example.
Jon and the others told him about the White Walkers. He tried to explain the greater danger of leaving the Wildlings to them. Thorne just refused to listen, and its not like the Night's Watch is made up of innocents. Most of them are there for a reason. I am sure that part of the reason he did this was because he thought it was right to keep the Wildlings out, but I dont believe that was the only reason. I think he simply did not want Jon to be Lord Commander and seized the opportunity to take control.
I think part of the reason Im so angry at Thorne is because he turned out to be such a disappointment. I really thought he might turn around after the battle at the Wall, but he stayed as treacherous as ever.

You havent been on the forums I have. People were up in arms about the Dany and Crypt scene too. But mostly because those things happened in the books differently and they felt the show made them more "rapey". As if having sex on your dead son's body practically is not disgusting enough.

Biggest WTFs of the episode
* Ed is the new lord commander!! But how many men are even left to defend the wall?
* STILL NO LITTLEFINGE… moreR!! I'm starting to think he's also the Three eyed Raven, cause man he's playing the game of thrones well
* Queen of Thorns is back in Kings Landing. This can only mean drama!!
* Looks like Eddadd stark had less honor then we may have thought. But for the right reasons.
* oh and fuck the umbers. Until they prove that they aren't traitors they can burn
Eddard told his sons and daughters the false story. There is no honor lost in surviving like that, but to pretend like it never happened, especially to a knight as esteemed as Arthur Dayne. You can't disrespect him in death.
Like how there isn't too much honor lost for Ramsay in killing his father, but the more he lies about it the less honorable he becomes.

Thats some circular logic right there lol

We saw Theon get almost raped and no one said anything about that. I guess because people didnt like him.
Nah, fuck Olly he knew exactly what he was doing. Little fucker betrays his mentor and doesn't even have the courage to say any last words.
#FuckOlly

He didnt look scared, he looked defiant. Like he really believed he did the right thing.
Meh, he still deserved to die after betraying Jon after everything Jon did for him.
I always liked Thorne as a character. He's a very interesting crow imo.

I'll cross them off when I see it happen
The only time i really liked Dany was when she was with the Dothraki. Its nice to get a callback to that time.

Well Lena Headey is a milf so I think it translates over :P
and they all got killed by other villains.... blah. I need some of the good guys to kill the bad guys.
I can only imagine the rage if the genders were swapped, similarly with theon
I get that but it really is unavoidable. They cant put every character in the show, its too much work and over complicated. Many casual watchers struggle as it is
It doesnt bother me, it bothers me that people are pissed about sansa but not that. i mean either be pissed about it all the time or dont
My Watch Has Ended

Im not saying he's perfect but the guy thought he did what was right. I can respect him for that. Overall he wasnt doing it for any personal benefit.
The guy never liked jon but I dont see that as a reason to hate him
Wait, he was a villain? You just wait until Euron starts to shine in all his glory, you're gonna want that dried up cuttlefish back into saddle.
Jon Snow is a good guy, though.

I have thought the exact same thing. People shouldnt pick and choose what to be outraged by. Either its all wrong or none of it is.
"They think you're some kind of god"
"I'm not a god"
"I know. I've seen your pecker. What kind of god has a pecker so small?"
I thought this exchange was hilarious
I think everyone (or almost everyone) thinks its wrong behavior, but its a show and its showing a medieval war based setting
Fapping material.
Biggest WTFs of the episode
I keep seeing this but I don't get it: How Eddard had less honor? It's Howland who gave the blow.
Is it Maddyson on your gif?

Ramsay has none, so it isn't difficult at this stage. :^)
I confused myself with Eddard from the book then, who mentions Howland saved his ass against Dayne.
