How much longer can Comic Rick last?
So Comic Rick lost his hand to the Governor. He managed to heal and still be a very capable survivor nonetheless.
However, he now has to walk with a cane, due to getting his leg busted by Negan. Now obviously he's not gonna have the mobility, nor the fighting ability he once did.
At the age of 33, though technically still young, he is what I would call: "The Old Man Of The Apocalypse."
So with that said, how much longer could a guy in his situation last?

Rick could die in The Whisperers war, which honest to God scares the shit out of me. Regardless, Kirkman promised Rick won't survive to the end of the series.
Well when his arm was cut off the governor got the doctors at woodbury to help heal it, so that was fairly easy to get through, he woke up and it was all sewn up and bandaged.
Yes, he doesnt have the ability he once had, but did you read issue 150? What Rick has is leadership and friends, It will be a long time till he dies, I believe he won't die until kirkman deems it necessary and not forced, and characters such as Carl is older (maybe 15) and maybe even Andrea is pregnant or has a child.
A story arc will have to be built around Rick's death, not just kill him with a Walker or have Alpha kill him. The will have to be something bigger than 'The Whisperer War' Thats only 6 issues long, yes we will lose characters, but not Rick just yet, He'll make it to 175+
A long, long time mostly due the direction Kirkman is moving his character in: towards villainy. It is clear now that Negan has been able to skillfully manipulate Rick into becoming even more ruthless as a leader and one who is not above completely manipulating his own people if it means victory against his enemies. Though he may win the Whisperer War thanks to this, it will eventually go to his head and completely corrupt him. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Carl is the one to finally put him down as well. But the point is that this transformation won't just happen overnight and will be very slow burn, so it means comic Rick will be sticking around for a very long time.
Or I could just be completely wrong and he gets his head blown off next issue, I guess.

I would just like to see Rick die peacefully on his deathbed of old age by people he loves.
IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK, KIRKMAN!?!?!
I feel like his death has been foreshadowed a lot lately. I assume he will be die a gruesome death during the war but knowing Kirkman he will probably keep Rick alive as long as possible. Despite his reputation for being "shocking" he really favors certain characters and hasn't killed off anyone major in a while.
