Wonder what role will Javier play in season 3?
We know he's a playable character as well as Clem. I wonder what else can we speculate about him?

He kinda seems to fit the Luke role, but we'll see. I don't see him dying too soon since he's playable, but who knows. I wanna know more about him already.
Reminds me of Luke tbh
I hope he gets better development than Luke who was crap in Season 2.
I imagine they'll do what they did in Tales From The Borderlands and have them split up in the episode a few times.
Luke was cool, once. Before the creepiness of the Cluke fans.
I can see him taking on a role similar to Lee or Luke, who will be looking out and protecting her.
Well obviously they are looking for a group that has a relation to the mark on both him and the walker. After saying that makes it seem like his purpose is to drive the plot.
I'm a bit confused by all the Luke comparisons. Is it because he's attractive or something?
At the moment I know nothing about him but I'm excited! He looks cool and has such an epic voice.
It has more to do with his demeanor and attitude and him putting others before himself and looking out for them. We kinda see that in Javier.
From saying "That one was marked too. We must be close. Just hold on..." seems like quite the asumption.
I sorta want Clementine to start off hating Javier and for them to build a bond through a common enemy. I just don't want the same brother sister relationship we had with Luke.
Anybody here think he looks like the governor from the to show
I really hope they develop him more than Luke but dont go so he can be totally unlikable like Kenny and Jane. They need to get a mix with the characters between interesting but still likeable.
A personality and feelings similar to Luke will be nice but it'll not be bad if ttg goes other track
No.
A wiki article on Javier says he's mid to late teens but I can't see him any younger than twenty.
He can be anything...we can just wait
He can be a savior, a bad guy. Good guy or even a caretaker of clem when she was all alone or maybe just a member at wllington
From what I've seen from him so far, I really can't make any guesses. It's too soon. But I'm hoping he'll lean more into grey morality, instead of being a typical hero-type character. Similar to the likes of Kenny and Jane, complex people with some good and bad qualities. I personally think characters like that make for much more enjoyable and interesting stories, as they're far more relatable and human. Obviously though, he'd also need to be likeable if he's going to be one of the main protagonists, which is why Jane ending up dying in my playthrough, but hopefully he won't end up like her or Luke, who was quite frankly, just bland.
