Old Characters, New Season
Here's your chance to give your theories on where some of our old friends are.
The ones I care about:
AJ - I hope honestly he's the one Clem and Javier are looking for in the trailer. As several other people have already stated, this would be a great narrative tool to get us invested in the story and direction of the season. One hopes he isn't just gone and S2 becomes moot. Could be that Javier was helping care for Clem and AJ in whatever community Clem seems to have stumbled upon. That would be cool and would hook new players (because who doesn't want to save a 4 year old) and would clearly make old players want to play.
Kenny/Jane - Telltale has stated that they're trying to come up with an innovative way to incorporate the different S2 endings into this new season, so I'm hoping they're there in some capacity. And I hope it isn't cheap like they show up at the beginning only to be killed (a la Omid).
Molly - A fan favorite that I hope appears again.
Christa - I didn't like all the mystery that remained with her. I hope we get some closure on that front as well.

I would like to see Lilly return and also Bonnie. It would be interesting to see their character development and their relationship to Clementine at this point. Lilly's attitude could vary depending on whether Lee chose to leave her or let her stay with the group, and Bonnie could be glad to see Clem or an enemy depending on how you chose to handle the Luke situation. They were among the few characters that actually had some interesting dynamics and it seems a waste to leave them as Unknown or determinate.
I think Mike and Arvo are must haves. What happened with them can't be left unfinished.
I really want to see Lilly and Molly again.

*Christa: found alive or dead before or during the episode, might not show up

*Lee: still shows up in Clem's dreams
*other major characters from 400 Days or Michonne: may or may not show up
*dead major characters from previous seasons: might show up in Clem's dreams
Christa, Lilly, Molly or Bonnie. 1 of them...
Pretty much anyone that used to know Lee from S1.. Kenny, Christa, Molly.. even Lilly... shared history with these characters is a form of connection to the past and Lee, always nice to have that.
