So do you think Clem will be completely emotionless in this game
Not referring to emotionless as a bad thing (infact I liked the way she acted in season 2 over season 1) but just in regards to the development of this character while trying to survive in this ZA. In season 1 Clem was pretty spirited throughout and was really the moral compass of the group. In season 2 (taking place about two years later) while Clem was still a good character you could tell she had lost a lot of her personality and was obviously suffering a lot of PTSD symptoms.
So in this game do you think we will see a Clementine that is virtually completely emotionless and will be bordering on losing her humanity? Just going by the trailer it seems that it is getting close to that point.

I think she'll be very different than she was in S2 for sure, but I don't think she'll be emotionless. I think she might be a little bit tougher because holy shit a lot has happened to Clem, but I think she might still have a little bit of hope left, despite what's happened to her.
I don't think Clem will be emotionless but rather more straightforward and cautious, remember we must take into account she has seen some pretty messed up things from Season 1 and 2 and she has lost too many people she cares about along the way. I think the fact she has been put through these types of situations has made her tougher and more alert to the dangers that surround her, look at Christa she was the same way and I think a little bit of that has rubbed off on Clementine.
She'll probably be a lot more cynical and introverted and not as trusting of other people, but I wouldn't say emotionless.
It may depend on where she was at the end of Season 2?
Smart; probably.
Emotionless; highly doubt that.
Badass; hella yeah.
Yeah, especially if you chose to stick with Jane. Her pragmatic, reclusive personality would surely rub off on Clem.
Not xactly emotionless...
But after going through so much last 5-6years i guess she'd be much more aware of the world, skillful and serious. Not to mention, mature as well
Like I've said 1,000 times, it is a wonder that kid is still sane. All the death she's seen, by people she cared for no less. I'm hoping Telltale will delve into her psyche a little more.
Well if I do a silent option playthrough, she'll be pretty emotionless. Relentlessly staring at everyone just like Lee taught her.
Maybe, although I don't think Clementine would become too much like Jane or Kenny, I kind of felt like it was Clementine who was rubbing off on at least Jane and Kenny.
Emotionless? It is Telltale game we are talking about, right?
Also, I wouldn't say she lost part of her personality is Season 2, she is just getting older, and more cautious. I do expect same to happen in Season 3.
Was she emotionless in season 2? Did we play the same game?
Emotionless? No.
But I'm hype to see what 4 years of the outbreak did to her psyche.
Her being reluctant to trust people will not be a determinant act because in season 2 she's betrayed by people that she thought that she can trust and is robbed and shot by a party of members that she survived with. So, if her trust in people is determinant wouldn't make too much sense. especially after she is manipulated to kill a over a point( season2 epi5 shooting Kenny, determinant ), having to spend 9 days alone with a man who the Protagonist isn't even sure that she is safe with because of his hostile behavior.( I base this on alot of the determinant dialogue. Also the face that Clem makes when Kenny hugs her seems like: this is the face that I make when i think there is a knife- in- the- back- is- coming- face.( determinant). In short, I'm just saying that most of our Clems' are going to having major trust issues, except, the Family ending assuming that the family are trusting, non trifling people
It could make sense, remember that the events of Season Two occur within a single week(maybe a little bit over that) with a 2 year time-skip into Season Three, several variables during those 2 years could account for how reluctant she is to help others. We don't know, therefore we can only assume but where there's the possibility that she is reluctant to trust others, there's also the possibility where she isn't.
