PS3 To PS4 Save files

As many know, The Walking Dead Season 2 came out before PS4 released and many bought and played it on PS3. If you're like me, you don't want to pay 25 more dollars to buy and play Season 2 all over again on PS4. I think Telltale should have something set up for season 3 to transfer these save files from PS3 to PS4 because there is nothing worse than to have the game randomly generate all past choices for you.

They have hinted that they are working out something for people in situations such as your own.

Hopefully after all of this time, they finally found out how to make this happen. It really would be a shame if this can't be accomplished

Maybe they'll do something similar to what Bioware did for Dragon Age with the Dragon Age Keep website.

I actually just posted something similar but for me my switch was from 360 to PS4 so I hope they make a universal way to transfer save files. I figure transferring from PS3 to PS4 could be easy because as long as you did a transfer of your PlayStation account you'd be fine because they could somehow tie it to your account.

In the context of that article, they only meant that they were aiming for Season 2 to be able to recognize Season 1 saves, and they meant that in the context of playing on the same platform, which they did accomplish. They never hinted or specified that they were aiming for cross platform saves from Season 1 into Season 2. It looks like you misinterpreted that article.

However, this time around, they directly mentioned working on cross platform saves.
