"The blandness of the characters introduced on each season is so abysmal" Meaning, the ones from season 1 and 2. Clearly I don´t know him, but I´m not excited to because of THE BLANDNESS OF PREVIOUS CHARACTERS.
Nope, can´t find any part of my initial comment about me knowing everything about him so... I don´t want new characters to take the spot light, and just as in the trailer we see that pan movement of the camera following I initially though "no, ignore the new guy, get back to clementine".
That´s why I did that comment about not giving a fuck about him, regardless of his unknown personality. I´l try and make myself more clear next time since apparently the level of misreading and misquoting is high around.
Telltale are going back to monthly episode releases as they did before Season 1 of Walking Dead. Bimonthly/quarterly episodes are hopefully not going to be a problem anymore.
Minimum 2 hour episodes with maximum 2 month wait time between episodes. And I expect Clem to finally loose that hat. Especially if she falls underwater again somehow.
Before Season 1 released, you didn't know anything about Lee other than that he was black. Don't be so fast to judge. Anyways, if anything Clem will steal his spot light, not the other way around.

Season 3 will start out focused on Clem and Javier trying to save some of Javier's crew from a crazy group of survivors who use marked walkers to protect their territory.
Two episodes in, they'll find out Kenny has been following them, trying to protect Clem from afar because he can't let her go but also feels like he can't be around people after all he's done. Javier's plot will then end immediately; he'll fall into a frozen river or get stuck to a fence.
Clem will find a stash of twinkies. When Kenny sees this, he'll talk about how much Duck loved those. Eating a twinkie is the only thing that gets through to Kenny anymore. It temporarily calms him and reminds him of his humanity. The main choices in the game will be about preserving the twinkie stash. Whenever a twinkie is lost, Kenny will lose it, but as long as he can take his aggression out on nearby zombies or someone else, Clem will be safe.
Season 1 was about protecting Clem, Season 2 was about Clem coming of age, and Season 3 is about Clem being the only sane person left.
True, it was always there.. but it Would be lovely to consistently evolve her appearance I think for the sake of some resemblance of realism . And that hat is one thing that never changes and making it glued onto her head and indestructible comes off as bit too cartoony. when realistically it would had been probably the easiest to loose or steal. But it's just a minor complaint of mine. I'd be happy enough to just see Clem on-screen again.

Yisus, reading problems much?
Ah, yes, my apologies for missing the beginning. I'm not trying to chastise you for disliking him or not wanting to like him since that's your own opinion, I'm simply trying to offer a little food for thought as in "we haven't seen much of him". That's all.

Kenny or Jane will have a few scenes in the first episode and/or appear in flashbacks. Their deaths will be shown and the player will get an idea of how their experiences with Kenny or Jane post Season 2 shaped Clementine's character. There may also be an occasional reference to Season 2 choices like there was for Season 1 choices.
I think Christa will return, since Clementine could ask other characters about her throughout Season 2. Lilly and Molly are less likely, since no one in the game seemed to care they were gone. Also, Lilly and Molly both chose to go their own way, while Christa and Clem were separated, so Christa's absence is more of a loose end. Arvo is 50/50. I somehow feel like Telltale will want to focus on a new, more powerful antagonist, possibly a group, this season. Take the gun away, and Arvo isn't much of a threat. Bonnie's determinant status leads me to believe she won't be back, though I think there is more that could be done with her character. Mike is definitely not turning up in Season 3. He had no development to speak of; no reason for us to feel strongly about him one way or the other, unlike with other characters.
I'm not sure if Telltale will kill off Clementine. I feel that could go either way, honestly. If they want to tie up the series, it would make as much sense to kill her off as to have her a hardened survivor matured and ready to face what comes. I'm going to go with she lives. Final answer. If for no other reason, because I don't think we will become invested in Javier and any other new character as much as we are Clem.
While I like the hat and I'd hate to see it go, I can definitely see where you're coming from. It is quite unrealistic that it seems to have the ability to remain on her head no matter what happens, although it's always been the something I could simply ignore for the sake of keeping it.

Season 1 was about protecting Clem… [view original content]
Has anyone noticed in the trailer Clem's wedding ring finger is cut in half with a bandage wrapped round it? Wonder if there's something interesting behind that? I really hoping my choices made a difference at the end of season 2 and that we do find out what happened to Christa or maybe even Lily?!
Oceanside will appear this season if not the comic. Kirkman has been making a big deal out of it but not really done anything with it yet, so I'm sure that even if it doesn't show up, it'll come into play, and that means maybe the Michonne mini-series will have some leverage to it.
I'm pretty sure they'll at least have one new throwback to 400 Days considering how many fans have voiced their opinion on it being ultimately useless in the previous season.
I'm guessing that, at some point, we might play as Lee in a flashback considering they said that his arc isn't over. They have at least the 3-month time skip to work with. Aside from affecting Clem's behavior or being in a recap, likely not much if anything will come forward from S1 with how long ago the events were.
I really hope they revisit S2 in a way that does it right. Between the non-memorable (or rather not remembered) characters, the lack of cohesion, and the clear lack of choice, it'll need it.
I can already see them getting us attached to the new character and him having an awesome personality but they end up killing him in the end… more... And we all cry and end up drowning ourselves and then Telltale collect our tears in jars and add them to the collection. I may have gone a bit too far.

Would you and whoever is liking your comments stop acting like the two are mutually exclusive? sigh
Well, I'm looking for citations of both quotes on Google and these forums. I'm not seeing Telltale confirm Lee's death (although I don't think they needed to, considering it was pretty obvious), and I could swear @InGen_Nate_Kenny transcribed something in the E3 thread about how "Lee and Clementine's arc" isn't over yet despite that fact.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious he's dead. Only fools who don't understand TWD world think he could still be alive. The voice actors have confirmed he is dead, and that they knew from Episode 2 and 3 that he was going to die. And Clementine's arc isn't over. There can be no continuing Lee's arc as he's dead. His arc was completed in Episode 5 of Season 1.

I don´t want new characters to take the spot light
So, your solution for avoiding having what you consider to be a bland set of characters is to... not introduce any new characters, focus on a single character, and hope the story doesn't end up being boring
Alright
If I'm worried about my boat sinking, I'll just go drive it down the street instead
No need to just check the boat or reinforce it or nothing, let's just avoid the water altogether

The mystery behind Clementine's missing ring finger is revealed to be...
...an act of rebellion against someone who tried to 'marry' her. Because the ring was fitted on too tight and due to the trauma of someone forcing Clementine to be their 'wife', she chose to cut the finger off rather than continue to wear the ring.

he became comic rick grimes.
rumor has it, michonne will be in season 3? just like glenn
Clem should be near Washington to meet her, unless something happens in the comics

I pray your accurate. Monthly would be more lovely than bi-monthly. Without a dip in quality.
Either way, you don't know Javier. You haven't given him a chance.

Yah about the Twinkie's. I think you took some inspiration from Woody Harrelson and his zombie land film. Or either it's a major coincidence.

anyone else noticed Clem's ring finger? what could have been the reason she lost it?
Probably bitten or she did something and it was amputated as punishment.
Lee's arc isn't done with? He's DEAD how done do you have to be. He's NOT COMING BACK.
Tell that to Telltale. They're the ones who said it, not me.
Actually, they've said he's dead. Show me where they said his arc isn't over.
Maybe cut it off while skinning an animal?
