If you are referring to the Plan B pill (or the morning after pill) it is really only a very high dose of the normal birth control pills, that you are meant to take the morning after any unprotected sex occurs. It doesn't Abort anything, it prevents conception.
If you took enough of them, early enough into your first trimester, you may be able to force a miscarriage, but it's not like that is a guarantee. Or even a good idea.
I always assumed that Christa's baby died during childbirth, due to the lack of Clementine's medical expertise. Additionally, Christa and Clementine were at Gil's Pitstop, in the middle of the countryside, so I doubt that they would risk going into the city just to find some abortion pills.

I don't think abortion pills work because she was like in her third trimester. I believe the pill only works when a women is in her first trimester.

This is a good point. I don't really think that it's what happened with Christa, but it's still a good point.
