comic follows clementines story?

although i dont think that will happen cause not everybody will buy the comics and it would seem like they are promoting the comics, but its possible because in the comics they just have contacted a stranger group over a radio that could be clementines group

    Stephanie lives in a settlement with over fifty people, and they have been there since early in the apocalypse. So, while it is not Clementine's group, it is possible that her group—whatever you mean by that, since everybody's dead or lost—resides in the community.
