    For the universe in general, 90's gangster rap music. Especially East coast music.

    Mobb Deep - Survival of the fittest
    Mobb Deep - Shook ones part 2
    Big L - MVP album version.

    The slow ballads that they use are great for capturing the sadness and hoplessness of the ZA situation, but they are not capturing the brutality, badassery and entertainment of the games for me. Only rap music can do that.

    I like "Metric - Speed the Collapse" for Season 1 and "Metric - Help I'm Alive" for Season 2. :)

    I also loved "First Aid Kit - Wolf" for Michonne.

    For the whole universe itself, I adore folk music. Many, many songs come to mind...
