Is there any way to save Mark from Brenda and the other cannibals?
As you guys may know, Mark is my favorite character in The Walking Dead and I would really like to know if there's any way to NOT let him die. I think he has to die, but I don't know. Mark has to die no matter what, you cannot save him.
No. I am so sorry for your loss.
Side note: Would've been pretty cool to rescue Mark and have a Bob(tv) type moment, with Lee putting him down afterwards. Sucks he's a walker.
One more side note: how did the St. John's overlook the medical care of their meat? Danny was explicit when telling Lee that the meat gets tainted if the person dies. So why wouldn't they give Mark the necessary medical care, or attention, after locking up the group?
No, he dies regardless.
Hate crushing dreams, but yeah he's dead no matter what.
Plot hole tastes like plot hole.
Maybe they he alrighty turned so they couldn't give the medical care, Probably not actually, because when Brenda was walking up the stairs, she didn't know Mark was behind her... Maybe she forgot because so much was happening, I don't know.
They did give him 'medical care' before you found him upstairs. On top of all the morphine, IV tubes and what such that you find while looking for him, there's both a blowtorch and a clothing iron in the bathroom you find Mark in, both bloody and recently used. They cauterized Mark's wounds, and gave him drugs in the hopes it would keep him unconscious through dinner (Danny can mention this when you're sneaking up on him in the barn). Obviously, that didn't work, which led to Mark waking up, Lee finding him, and Mark trying to pull himself downstairs, reopening all his wounds in the process. They haul him back upstairs after they lock Lee and the rest up, where he proceeds to bleed out before they can do anything else.
They're not exactly medical professionals, if the state you find Mark in is any indication. Cauterized with a blowtorch and iron, blood all over the room, no bandages on Mark's legs... I wouldn't say they're exactly skilled at keeping their victims alive.
Besides, why hold onto Mark when they have us? They now have 5 people in the meat locker to choose from.
You're the best Deltino.
Was thinking about that towards the end of my comment.
Mmmm...tastes like Mark!
