Why did Carol hate Sammy so much?
I don't quite get why she had such a dislike for him. And I do realize that in the real world some people just don't mesh, and you do run across those people that just irritate you, and you can't figure out why.
But nevertheless, Sam was not a bad kid. If anyone deserved to be disliked, it would've been his older brother - who has tried to kill Carl.
Carol just seemed to hate the kid for no reason, and her words about "monsters tearing him apart", not only got him killed, it got Jesse killed, his older brother killed, and got Carl's eye shot out.
So why the hatred? Why'd Carol have such an intense dislike for the kid?

A lot of kids Carol care about end up dead. (Her daughter, the sisters), so maybe she just wanted to push him away so she wouldn't have to see another child she cared about die.
that old bitch hates everyone. she burns ppl alive for cough.
It could've been because Carol is still traumatized by the deaths of Lizzie, Maika, and Sophia and doesn't want another child to die under her watch because the pain would just be too unbearable and would cost her her sanity.
Or it could've been because Sam was just an annoying character and even the show itself knew it.
I can believe either.
I don't think Carol hated Sam at all. She just couldn't get close to him. Not wanting to lose another child. It's a personal defence. Think about the threat she gave him if he told anyone about her taking the gun's. How cold hearted and direct she was in it. What I saw was, She did what she had to in order to keep the taking the gun's quiet. The Guns were needed to survive and it was a teach lesson to Sam about how terrible the world outside the wall's were. Sam was too protected (Like Sarah) and like Sarah was never going to survive.
So, Carol didn't warm up to him for her own internal defence.
She was very hard on him but I don't think she hated him.
