That's also just Travis talking I doubt they'd let spoilers slip through, Travis also said he's not even that sure how the ext episode goes, and I doubt if Harvey does become two face no matter what it be the next episode.
Yes, I would get in trouble for releasing spoilers from unannounced episodes of our game. Every staff member would. Please don't ask us.
I'm not going to be checking this thread any more so it stops being about me. This is about Batman. I hope everyone enjoys the episode! Love you guys ♡♡
Emily, will it get you in trouble if you reveal if Harvey will become two face later on? Because I heard from another Telltale worker that you could prevent someone from being a villain and will you still love us 20 years from now?

Of course Telltale has to make their characters struggle! But jeez, did they manage to project Harvey's attempt at pushing away from his other self well? Painfully well, in my opinion.
I just love everything about that little preview and episode three of Telltale Talk so much! They mentioned during Telltale Talk that this iteration of Two-Face, despite having peaks of anger and panic, is mainly born of insecurity and shame. Of course interpretations aren't set in stone, even if they are made by people working on the game or voicing characters in the game, but I actually got that vibe from the clip itself before watching the rest of the Talk episode.
I just feel that they absolutely nailed the scene in that preview. They conveyed what they wanted for this Harvey Dent perfectly, especially in that little one-on-one Harvey had with himself. The combination of the voice acting and the facial animations just made for, in my opinion, a very emotional and twistedly intriguing scene. I really like the design of his burns, too. I don't exactly like seeing Harvey fight against himself because I have a heart, but at the same time I am also enjoying the fact that he doesn't snap into anything immediately. This will be a long, painful mental process, won't it?
Oh Catwoman, I'm afraid that it is too late to rekindle our love. If only bakeries sold "I'm sorry I got you shot a few inches from the chest" cakes. If there happen to be any chances for my Bruce to regain Selina's growing trust and interest, then I'm pretty sure that I'll ruin it by being myself. You saved Selina though, so good luck with that one, my friend! Hopefully you can whisker away! Get it? Cause cats?!
Apologizes for a long, mainly unwarranted response, but I am filled with that perfect mix of delirium and hype!
Yeah! I like that this Harvey seems to be almost in denial, and struggling against it, as opposed to fully embracing it like with some portrayals. But of course, that will no doubt change down the road.
Catwoman tho.
No apologies needed! It ain't Cleganebowl, but I am HYPE! as well.
I agree with you about the shame angle, and really, his powerlessness. Imagine you wanting to do right by Gotham, but suddenly you're surrounded by masked and caped weirdoes who are so far out of your league to deal with. Anger is a very typical 'defense' for inadequate feelings, and so this persona that is emerging may represent a seductive feeling of power and control among the big players.
I hope your Bruce can do right by him, and talk him back from the ledge!

Outside of the Community Managers/PR people or Support Team, most of the Telltale Staff members that post on forums are mainly writers, dire… morectors, video editors, or music editors. Unless they specify that they are behind the technical side of things (or it says on their profile bio), let's please hold off on singling out staff members for information that they don't have, or in other cases, information that they are not allowed to share.
Staff members don't always post here, so when they do choose to post, I don't want them to leave because people expect them in particular to be singled out and held accountable for something they have no say in (or have little say in).
If you have technical problems, ask Support for help instead, please.
I have faith that Emily Garrison(I hope I spelt her name right) will do an amazing job with Episode 3. Some of the best Nightwing and Titans stories were written by women. So Emily Garrison might be creating a masterpiece in Episode 3. Also this might contain one of the greatest Bruce and Selina moments because I feel women make the best romantic stories that also contain action sequences of protecting those the main characters love. So I wish Emily Garrison the best on Episode 3 along with TellTale Games. Keep doing an awesome job!
So the trailer should come this week or the day before release of the episode i'm just itching to see more gameplay in the trailer and then play the episode.
Does the Batman: Arkham series (Asylum, City, Origins and Knight) tell the original/normal backstorys of the characters? (Mainly the villains)
Because I haven't played Telltale's Batman game yet and wanted to learn the normal stories of the characters before playing Telltale's version and was wondering if I can through these games.
Thank you and sorry if this wasn't a good spot to post this, I wasn't sure where else to.
Do you guys think we will able to start a romantic relationship with Vicki Vale. I mean she isn't bad looking by any means and she does have a Intriguing voice imo.
Well so far shes had only about 2 scenes in ep 1 that could be taken romantically, and after almost no interaction in episode 2, although what it was wasnt really friendly, its already mirroring some other Telltale romance...

Well the Arkham games don't really tell the origins of the Villians but you can find Patient tapes that will give you a brief background on characters from comics such as Joker and so on. However, do not expect the characters to be similar to the TellTale version of the characters. Some are similar and some are completly different. I don't really mind the differences in TellTale's Batman game because they have proven that they are an award winning company with award winning writers in my opinion.

I don't mean to Snow on your parade but I think Catwoman will be able more of who TellTale wants to ship with Batman. There can always be a chance that Vicki Vale will be a romantic interest of course!

No problem! Us Batman Fans have to stay together. Also something else I forgot to say the patient tapes are mostly in Batman: Arkham Asylum! However, Arkham City does provide a bit of backstory! Arkham Knight I didn't enjoy as much it seemed like Rocksteady just wanted to release a tech demo showcasing Batman.
We've heard Batman use the line "Where are they?!" in both episodes so far. Ep. 1 with interrogating Falcone and Ep. 2 with choosing to tell Penguin you know about the drugs.
What I'm curious to know is if we will get the opportunity to say "Swear to me!" in the next episode(s).
I'm pretty sure Bruce or his alter ego Batman says that in Episode 2. As I recall Bruce says to Alfred "Swear to me that there's no truth to it" something amongst those lines! What I want is a scene where Bruce finally lets his anger out and Troy Baker's voice acting will show that aggressive side that he has such as in The Last of Us!

Well.. I'm not a Batman fan just yet, as I've never played a Batman game or watched a Batman movie, but I'll get there!
But I will be getting Arkham Asylum soon. I'm going to play (At least the first two) of the Arkham series before Telltale's game.
Also, while we're (Sort of) on the subject... Have you seen the Dark Knight Rises (If that's what its called) movie? Because I've owned it for quite a while but have had no interest in watching it until now, and I was wondering what you thought of it. (If you've watched it)

If you're planning on getting the first two of the Arkham series, I'd recommend getting the "Batman: Return to Arkham". It's a two for one that comes with both.

Isn't that only on PS4/Xbox One though? I don't have any of those yet, I was going to get the PS3 versions. Also, I should be able to get a copy of both for quite cheap, since they're a few years old.

Finished up my fourth save file on episode two, ready for episode three! Wonder when we'll be getting a trailer.
Im guessing tomorrow we will get a trailer
Why isn't it the 25th yet?
Because it's the 17th
February 17th?
Wolf Among Us Reference? Lol
More Tales from the Borderlands, but F17 20XX will 100% be Wolf season 2's release date though!
Your limiting its release to this century? haha
So the trailer should come this week or the day before release of the episode i'm just itching to see more gameplay in the trailer and then play the episode.

You've acquired a taste for free form jazz.

True, but I didn't count that, mainly because it was part of the "Next Time" preview, and they've never exactly been "accurate."
That would make a very intense scene, by the way. Troy Baker's aggressive side is vicious.
