When Negan was batting Abraham's or Glenn's head, would you have stayed put?
Or would you have taken the chance like what Daryl did?
I was just thinking they were not tied up, so they could have closed in and ganged up on Negan & bit his nose or ears or poked his eyes. At least they would have died trying, right? They would be too close to Negan that his men hesitate gunning them down unless they want to kill Negan in the process.

It's the only realistic scenario. Why would they die trying? That's such a typical clicheé statement, sorry. And this is TWD, where no one ever misses a headshot, Negan's men would have gunned them down.
The only way I see a way out is if you hid a weapon on yourself and when Negan gets close enough, grab him and hold him hostage. Also depends if your strong enough to do this and his people even care enough to not hurt your people.
I'd have no choice! There are, like, 500 men surrounding me and my group, and pointing guns at me; it's our only best chance!
If Negan attacked someone I cared about, you bet I would've attacked him.
I would've done nothing, and then after we went back to Alexandria I would've left on my own.
I was also considering this, but then maybe Negan has already deployed snipers around the area, waiting to see if someone leaves.
I would do nothing. He'd have us surrounded, and attacking him would only make things worse and get more people killed. Better wait and do as he says. He won that battle, but not the war.
It would suck...you have to watch a good friend get beaten to death...and at the same time fight against the urge to help them, and to be honest, probably scared that someone would do something to get you killed.
So yes this entire situation is not what I would call happy.
I personally would have rather died but only to avoid the hell that he has in store for everyone. However in this situation, even if you want to be the one killed, you'll just cause someone else to die. The only person who wanted to be killed (for the sake of others; a sacrifice) was Abe. Now let me be clear, I definitely would have NOT volunteered to be Lucilled because as my boy Kenny once said, "Fuck that!"
