Both are responsible to varying degrees, but it is a fact that Negan would not have killed Glenn had Daryl kept in his place; one thing led to the other, and there is no discussion to be had about it.
Daryl couldn't have known that. 2. There are a lot of things that wouldn't happen if we'd made another decision, but that doesn't mean we're responsible for it. This is victim blaming at its finest.

I never said that Daryl was conscious that his actions would get somebody else killed; he was enraged, and not in the appropriate mindset to think, and that is why he reacted without considering that what he was about to do could do harm. Jumping on Negan was done without malice.
Daryl is indeed indirectly responsible for what happened to Glenn, as it were his actions that led Negan to kill somebody else; that is not a matter that is up for discussion. You are just biased, perhaps because Daryl could be one of your favorites.
Look at the death section at this webpage on a website that claims to be objective. Do you see Daryl's name in there?

It's really not. I am not blaming Glenn.
I'm not blaming Daryl, either. I am responsabilizing him indirectly.

sorry to revive this thread, but i think it's kinda funny that it was originally rick's fault that he died, at least in the comics. since, y'know, daryl only exists in the tv show.

Don't watch the show, but apparently that Troy-looking character is Daryl.
Dude.
It's not Daryl's fault. It's the murderous maniac Negan's fault.
No, it's just as much Daryl's fault. What a hero, protected Rosita from taking one look at Abraham at the cost of Glenn's life.

No one ever considers Negan's feelings.
Daryl is only responsible for what he does. Blaming him for the actions of another is silly hindsight.

Really? I wouldn't know because I'm a game only person at the moment.
Because that totally backs up my statement on its own. Even though I DON'T watch to TV or read the comics.
