I never really gave a damn about Michonne, but I liked some of the characters more. I really liked Samantha, she's one of the most human characters in the games imo.
The reason Michonne was a better story...The writers knew from the start where the story was going and never second guessed their decisions. Story cohesion and flow are maintained throughout. Hopefully TWD:ANF will have this driving force as well.

The issue is her age. She works as a supporting character, but not as the one tasked with making these big important decisions that affect the survival of the group. It strained suspension of disbelief a bit that these adults had to keep relying on a child.
If I could wave a magic wand and change season 2 the core group would have been the cast of the 100 Days DLC (all of whom were interesting), plus Christa, Omid, and Clem. Clem would have been a supporting character, with either Christa or one of the 100 Days cast members as the protagonist.

after having replayed both season 2 and michonne back to back i have to say michonne. season 2 has alot of short comings [ underdeveloped characters an unfoucsed plot] but it still hadd it's moments.
michonne on the other hand was a better plotted stand alone story that got what it wanted to do done. episode 1 and 3 were great while 2 was way to short and the weakest of the three.
in season 2 i only cared about a couple characters like jane. while in michoone i cared and liked the whole cast even the villains. Randell is troy done right imo.
Well said Mega Mike. I have to agree that Michonne was the better walking Dead game. I only wished that it was 5 episodes. Hopefully another one will come out soon of concentrating on a character from the comics.
i feel like while Michonne had a good story it was the worst in the franchise with keeping up on the illusion of choice as an example the randall choice in the finale of episode 2 during episode 3 there s a negotiation scene where you can do the trade between Randall and Oak and the second Norma unties his wrist Randall charges at Michonne with no weapons and tries to choke Michonne who at this point is holding a gun and of Course Michonne manages to kill him which starts the shootout which i think was pretty cheap and bad writing from telltale s part couldnt they just have made something Like Randall Knocking Norma out telling someone to take her away and then begin the shootout? It would be a far better way to start the shootout instead of ´´Lol im randomly gonna attack the woman with a gun in her hand with my bare hands cause that will surely work!´´
Hard call because Michonne was just short and not a lot happened. Season 2 brought Kenny back, which I thought should have been impossible, and they also brought Bonnie into it (who I couldn't stand to begin with). For those reasons, I guess I'm gonna go with Michonne.
I liked both games very much but TWD S2 stands above Michonne. S2 has Kenny, Clem as the main character, and is a longer experience. If Michonne was 5 episodes it may challenge it, but as a Kenny fan, Season 2 was amazing to me.
In all games, I remember all of the characters first time they are introduced into the game. But I didn't even know their names until I went back and played it again. And this is me we're talking about so it normally means that a game has bad writing, in my opinion so season 2 wins.

Michonne is miles better.

ANF looks like somebody failed at spelling "and" and accidentally did all-caps.
Clem was a bad protagonist.

Non, But michonne had a better story and season 2 had better characters IMO.
Well they had about two years to make a good game & story. So i hope they have not been sitting on their asses and doing nothing.
Agreed Clem is the best character Telltale has made
EDIT: Wrong thread. Ignore this.

I must confess after seeing the walkthrough of two episodes of the mini series, I must give the better writing honor to the Michonne mini series.
Season 2 had SOME good moments, but it lacked in some departments.
The Michonne series was on par with the first season, in my personal opinion.
