What if it was ***** vs. **** instead of ***** vs. ****? (No Going Back spoilers)
I'll say this in the uncensored way: what if, in episode 5, it would have been Kenny vs Luke instead of Kenny vs Jane?
Before episode 5 came out, a lot of people thought Kenny vs Luke was gonna happen. What would you have done if Luke took Jane's position at the gas station in episode 5?
I think I still would have saved Kenny.

Definitely would've saved Luke.
Probably Luke. As much as I feel bad for Kenny, Luke doesn't have un-likability or the rap sheet that he and Jane does and thus, I would likely be more inclined to siding with him.
Still would have saved Kenny. Even easier choice for me as not a fan of Luke. Jane vs Luke would be more interesting. I would have saved Jane.
I dont really see Luke doing what jane did
Eeeh...maybe with a little more thought put into whether he thinks the baby would truly be safe in the hiding spot he picked, but I agree. Luke didn't seem to be the type to solve a problem with force and by simply killing it.
I would still have to side with my best friend Kenny, but oh god I'd feel so terrible about Luke. The circumstances leading up to the fight would have to be a lot different though, because I don't see Luke being able to justify leaving AJ in the blizzard to himself.
If you mean that Luke hid the baby to provoke Kenny then hell yeah I'd still choose Kenny. Luke was creeping close to my bad side, so if he had somehow lost the baby, I would've been pissed off at him too. I wouldn't have stepped in unless it was to help Kenny out. I liked Luke, but it would have shown that he is irresponsible if he lost AJ after the sex with Jane situation.
Now if you mean that something just happened that caused the two to duke it out to the death, it really depends on the issue. Although Kenny's my favorite, I was close to shooting him when it came to that last choice. Whoever was most in the wrong, I'd save them. Between Jane & Kenny, I figured Kenny was more in the right because of how much Jane was against Kenny, and not really caring for the baby; which is kinda funny since I don't like AJ, but he's a baby.
I would've saved Kenny
If this would've happened Kenny would atleast be alive in my playthrough. Though I'd have left him like I did Jane.
Depends entirely on the circumstances. If they were the same (Luke for some reason hides baby and decides to agitate Kenny) I would save Kenny again.
Any other guess is useless unless you change the paramenters, I didn't go with Kenny just because Jane is Jane.
I've thought this over to figure out how we'd get the same basic setup with Luke instead of Jane and I think I've got:
One of people's sympathetic explanations for Jane's actions is that she simply hid AJ to make sure the pursuing walkers didn't get him and only decided to bait Kenny when she saw he was at the pitstop while coming to warm herself up: I think Luke would make this explanation a lot more believable!
After all, Kenny and Carver both called Luke a flake and he had a few moments where it looked he may have abandoned the group for his own purposes, giving him a history that suggests this isn't completely out of character. His deal was always about helping people and doing whatever he could to keep them safe, so him hiding AJ to reduce the chance of walkers getting him would fit both of these behaviors.
And instead of immediately assuming Luke killed AJ because of Jane's own pragmatism and sketchy behavior, he would instead be furious because he thinks Luke flat out lost/abandoned a baby to save his own skin. This would make his rage more understandably unbearable simply because Luke has no reason to hurt the baby but did show signs of abandoning the people he's supposed to be protecting in the past. I think the only issue here is why he would continue fighting Luke when he knows the baby may be alive?
It depends on the prior scenario, what lead up to Kenny and Luke fighting? If Luke just outright got mad at Kenny after all the crud that went down and started attacking him, then I'd have chosen to save Kenny. Although if Luke took Jane's exact role, I would've chosen Luke.
