ok I just created my psn account

I just created my psn account so I can play season 3 as it is first released instead of when they release it on dvd like I did the first two games. When does it come out on playstation store to buy and has an actual release date even been announced yet? Also when you buy something will it download to your playstation as soon as it is released?

I am brand new to this whole purchasing games online thing as I don't play games much anymore (TWD is pretty much the only thing I play) and when I did play games a lot I just purchased them on dvd.

  • You should do a little research first, but as of right now the new season is debuting sometime this month with no specific date given yet.

And if you buy a season pass on Playstation store, it doesn't automatically download. You still have to go find the episode in the store and press download, if you have the season pass you just don't have to pay every single time. Hope that answers your question.

    • No official release date announced yet, although Gamestop listed the Season Pass Disc as a November 15th release (which is a possibility since Telltale releases on Tuesdays).

    • Recently, Telltale tried to get episodes out the same date on all platforms, but this didn't always work.

    • You will have to manually download the episodes, but you only have to pay once if you buy the Season Pass. On console you can also buy episodes indiviually, this is not possible on PC. Buying the Season Pass will usually save you the cost of one Episode (e.g. 20$ for a five Episode à 5$ Season).

  • Cool thanks. And I am assuming that I can purchase gift cards as well similar to how amazon does it. Not sure I really want to put my credit card on psn.

  • Yeah, most gaming stores sell them.

Also, you can buy the season pass as a disc. It has episode 1 on the disc, and let's you download episodes 2-5 for free when they come out, the season pass discs usually release around the time the second episode does. (I think)

Not sure if you already knew that, if so then sorry.
