I would like to think Lee and Kenny but Rick and Daryl have been in the apocalypse a lot longer than the both of them so they would probably have an advantage.
Actually they really would as much as I hate to admit it. Let me lay down some proving factors.
Rick has been trained in combat thoroughly considering he used to be an officer of the law, not to mention he's survived much longer than Lee and Kenny and have seen more than they ever had before their, absolutely brutal, untimely demises. Making him more guarded and in turn more dangerous. He has also become very skilled with not only guns, but has become incredibly skilled with melee weapons and even simple hand to hand. (See the episodes below for proof)
Rick also knows how to remain calm and scan for weaknesses in a combat situation, whereas most of our interactions fighting as Lee have been full on assault. Ken may be different as in the Jane fight he clearly waits for an opening many times, but that won't help him much when Rick pulls out his Magnum are fires away. With Daryl, he has most of the same combat skills as Rick, but he's also a well trained hunter. While Rick will just run into a room with no hesitation, Daryl will scan and be able to pinpoint where his enemies are, as well as how dangerous the situation is. So if Ken's waiting around a corner for Daryl in a fight, Daryl will definitely be able to call his attack and find a way around it, or at least be prepared for his attack.
There are a few other reasons as well, but from that alone it's enough to say that even if Lee and Ken were to win somehow, it'd definitely be an uphill battle and I doubt both of them will leave in one piece.
I dunno. I guess I'm just a suckup for Lee and Kenny, that I put too much faith in them. xD

The only true disadvantage I see is that Kenny will butt heads with his teammates at times when they need to work together. TV Rick and Daryl win this round.

Rick got whooped by the Governor so bad he could barely walk. Yeah, he got shot. BUT:
In "No Time Left," Lee can get his arm cut off, get shot by the Stranger (if you dont click on the gun when it goes to the closet, Stranger gets it shoots you, then you punch him in the face. i let it happen everytime to prove how badass Lee is), and choke the Stranger to death with one hand. also Lee can beat up Molly if you're quick enough, and Molly's like a ninja.
Rick and Daryl could barely handle Jesus by himself.
im picking Lee and Kenny.
Lee and Kenny could hardly handle Molly. And let's be honest...it was Lee doing the handling...she was still able to kill Kenny...or at least be able to.
If youre quick, Lee rekt'd her.
Yet she still kicked Kenny's ass....plus the majority of people did not win that fight if you go by the play-thrus
when you mean majority its not like its canon or anything thats just other peoples playthroughs of people who weren't quick enoguh to beat her, that dosent mean lee couldin't kick molly's ass. because I did on my playthrough plus by season 2 kenny is a much more experinced fighter being able to overpower mike and beat jane when she had a knife and had already injured him. so I think lee and kenny could give daryl and rick a run for there money. and season 2 kenny could possibly put up a better fight with molly.
Season 2 Kenny....you mean the indestructible, horribly written terminator wannabe? The guy who shoulda died in a fire fight...or with a broken orbital...when she put her thumb in his ruined eye...a piece of bone should have gone into his brain...so no, you do not get to bring up s2 Kenny.
yeah well I am going to bring up kenny and it looks like instead of disputing my fact about how kenny is a good fighter you just hate on him like you normally do. regardless of how you feel about kenny, his fighting skills have drastically approved and you cant see that because your so blinded by your hate .
He is a horrible fighter...as given Rick has lasted way longer than either Kenny or Lee
And Molly kicked his ass in s1...I am sure she would still kick his ass if they had met in s2...
wow still you ignore the facts, even when I list the feats of season 2 kenny you just completley bypass them. and what does rick suriving in the apocalypse this long have to do with his fighting skills? plus kenny's death is determinat and the only reason lee died is because he was so focused in on saving clementine.
well thats your opinon, it defintley wouldin't be a onesided fight thats for sure. kenny's fighting skills have improved whether you like it or not.
Ok..regardless...Rick and Daryl would absolutely crush Kenny and Lee...no question. Because if it came down to thinking about strategy...well...thinking is not Kenny's strong suit...and he never listens.
Rick and Daryl are a functioning machine of death and tactics that Kenny and Lee would have no chance to match. And let's talk about Jesus...he stole the truck....they chased him on foot and got it, then struggled over it while fighting walkers...then had mercy enough to keep him alive.

I agree with you that kenny can be irrational at times, but kenny has made plans before and has used strategy so he does have somewhat of a tactical mind. but I concede, due to ricks police tranning and daryl being a good hunter they would probably win but it would be one hell of a fight thats for sure.
Probably Rick and Daryl. But both are beaten in spades when it comes to personality and character, especially Daryl, who has very little personality and is basically just a henchman.

You have to understand...I loved Kenny in S1...but man....Kenny in S2.....hah.
I can go with Daryl being a henchman...but nah Rick is solid...but I do miss Lee

Yeah actually because she was going to bury Hilda into Kenny's head...but Lee told her he was with them...Kenny was taken out in a second...think about that.
