4 years and probably goodbye
I was going to message the mods privately about this but thought that there was no point so just a message to say (now that my harsh ban is finally over), nearly 4 years i have been posting on these boards and not once been banned till last month and i had considered myself to be one of the more decent board members. I realise i am not everyone's cup of tea and i have been known to go off on someone over certain topics which would make some people not like me very much and right now i am going to speak my mind about this, that i felt my ban was extremely harsh when i used ECIT's real name in the conversation when my intent was not to deliberately reveal personal information about him but merely addressing him by his actual name as i have known him for a considerable amount of time now as well as outside of the forums. I did not realise that he did not want his name revealed. Him and i have since sorted this issue out but despite the fact that i even removed the text i had put that originally offended ECIT, i still get harshly banned without even having the chance to explain myself. I felt this treatment to me, a loyal poster of 4 years, was unfair.
If this post gets me banned again then so be it because quite frankly i'm not bothered now. I have loved posting on this these boards in a civil manner for the most part and i feel like it's a complete stab in the back receiving that ban. I wanted to say thank you to everyone i have discussed things with over the years. Despite disagreeing a lot with certain people, i still respected what they said. I am saying this as i probably won't post on here as often anymore because of this unfair treatment. I look forward to playing the new season 3 game on release and if in the future i do decide to post here again, then i may speak with you all soon.
