Huh. Sure proved me wrong. I guess none of the other circumstances of her being an unjustifiable badass exist and I'm completely wrong becau… morese I was misinformed that surviving bullshit circumstances increased your chances of dying from another bullshit circumstance, when clearly nearly drowning IS easy to survive, and because she survived that horse shit she ALSO survived a gunshot! Thanks for informing me good buddy.
So you've got nothing but your emotional certainty that she is invincible
Uhhh, no? Where the fuck did you get that from. I've got plenty of fucking evidence to back it up. The fact that she didn't fucking drown and die in that frozen lake alone makes her a mary-sue, but whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm done having this discussion anyway. I've got memes to share and shit to edit and I have no interest in arguing the immortality of an 11 year old girl in a zombie apocalypse universe. The very fact that any of those characters are alive is bullshit.
So you've got nothing but your emotional certainty that she is invincible(in a game in which she can, and least for me, does die).
I feel it's impossible to survive so she's an unjustifiable badass.
Great argument.

Not dying when you fall through the ice makes one an invincible mary sue?
-The point
-Your head.
Seriously man, it's not just the ice. Yes the ice was bullshit, but what about all the times people have hesitated to kill her, how many people and walkers she killed in unrealistic circumstances, the fact she got out of Savahnna alive with no help, the fact that 2 walkers fell on top of her while escaping Howes and not one zombie from the horde heard her struggling and attacked her, the entire walker break in scene with Kenny and Mike in Episode 3, the lack of food she's had throughout the entire series, the first time she almost drowned in Season 2, the dog bite which by all laws of science and everything built in the walking dead's universe she should not have survived, the shootout which she survived by sheer luck, etc, etc.
Do none of these scenes ring a bell to you? Does the fact that ANY human being, much less an ELEVEN YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAS HARDLY EATEN ANYTHING FOR THE PAST 16 MONTHS survived all of that bullshit not make you question whether or not Clem is a poorly written character at all? Yeah, you're totally not an avid fanboy/fangirl for Clem who will defend her and her character at every turn. Seriously I'm willing to accept she survived that gunshot based on the info you gave me, fine. But it's complete bullshit that she survived anything else. No human being, especially a, once again, can't stress this enough, 11 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAD BARELY EATEN AND HAD NO ENERGY, would survive the fucking bullshit Clem went through in the series.
Clementine is by every, single, solitary, little, definition, a Mary-Sue character. Not to mention the writers don't give her any flaws or personal struggles, she's smarter than every adult in Season 2 and pulls the entire group by herself and is poorly written to begin with. Look up the definition of Mary-Sue, Clem is exactly that.

Wow. I'll let all the people who've survived just such a thing know that it was impossible and they should be dead.

But Lee didn't adopt Clementine. He was her caretaker, and they only learned that Ed and Diana were really dead minutes before his death.
A) Let's not pretend he didn't have a pretty good idea they were already dead.
Did you expect him to swing by the courthouse and get the adoption done up during the zombie apocalypse?
He was her surrogate father and essentially an adopted father to an orphan girl. It's the closest we have to an actual last name for her.
haha. I don't know why but this sounds super funny in my head. I'm just imagining a infomercial.
Great. Another necrobump.
But the thread is just a little over one week old.
Still a bump.
Clementine Drake
But it's not like the thread was really dead.
