Can't progress through EP3 bc of train glitch.

Okay so I downloaded the Walking Dead complete season 1 on my Xbox One and it was going great until I got go episode 3. (forgot which chapter, might be chapter 5) We start talking to the homeless guy and Katjaa says she needs Lee's help for Duck. So I grab the rag and whipe Duck's mouth (was coughing blood), then Katjaa tells me to go tell Kenny to stop the train. So I walk over the door to go tell Kenny but....THE POINTER THINGY (for you to interact with things such as opening doors, talk to ppl, etc.) WON'T EVEN SLIDE TO THE DOOR! I can't progress while this freaking glitch is happening, anyone been through this and knows how I can get past it?

    Turn the console on and off? If that doesnt do i'd rewind to the last checkpoint and this should stop the glitch

    I actually tried that, still cant progress. :-/ Im gonna try and rewind back to when i kicked lily to the curb...hopefully it works.
