I haven't gotten to play Last of Us, but I do like the characters. Even so, I'm more excited for TWD, even though I feel like I'll be more disappointed by New Frontier than by Part 2.
TLOU. Even with ANF a couple weeks away. You know, there was a time where I cared about Clementine infinitely more than Ellie, but them days have passed. I need to know what happens to my favorite little potty mouth. Besides, FFXV is consuming my life right now, and after 10 years of waiting for THAT, ANF is going to have to take a seat and wait its turn.
The teaser for TLoU was out before TWD Season 1, and the game had been in production long before TWD was even announced. Neither of the developers had any intent to rip the other one off. Coincidences, they happen.
What? That's like saying TWD is a rip off of Resident Evil 4, but the person tagging along is a little girl. Having similar aspects doesn't make something a rip off lol
Not yet live on the Xbox store, unfortunately. I was really hoping they dropped "season 3" from the title because they were planning a proper one though. Being completely honest I'm not thrilled with this being a "new beginning", as they called it, or taking a new character to focus on his story. I'm willing to give it a shot, but depending on the first two episodes this may be it for me lol
I don't think taking the focus off of Clementine a bit is a bad thing. We'll still play as her and also interact with her a lot as Javier, which will be interesting to see. I'm hoping that she'll act differently depending on your choices in the first two Seasons and the flashbacks.

I guess I'm just going to have to see how it's handled. I don't mind playing as a different character, I didn't mind 400 days. But that was just a bonus episode exploring other peoples experiences during season 1. I'm not so sure about an entire season focused on a new guy and his family and how he interacts with our former main character. The 400 days characters were practically unrecognizable, personality wise, compared to how I played them in one episode, and now that's 2 seasons of Clementine.

I'm excited for the story of the Walking Dead, and I'm excited for the gameplay of TLOU2. I couldn't stand Ellie in the first game though, so that's why I have more hype for Telltale's story, I prefer Clem's character big time. I'm also interested in Javier and his background.

Definitely TLOU. I'm excited for TWD too though.
A lot less, but still excited.
The last of us isnt coming for at least a year or more so i'd say walking dead for now
TWD
My own feelings on the matter aside, doesn't it make more sense to be excited about the thing happening sooner than the other thing

TWD As I never played TLOU and im not planning on buying a console just to play it.
A New Frontier. I did enjoy The Last of Us, but I'm not too interested in a continuation at the moment.
ANF since its coming sooner, stoked for both.
Yes but hype stops for no one.
Looking forward to TLOU more but hyped for The Waking Dead more since it's closer. I watched TLOU trailer way more times, though.
Oh god dammit
Considering how I have yet to play TLOU, and since ANF is less than 2 weeks away, I'm going to go with that.

You mean it doesn't even stop for pedestrian crossing?
Man, hype's a dick
TWD. I really enjoyed TLOU, and I'll probably end up getting a PS4 when it launches, but I can't see it passing my hype levels if S3 gets announced.
twd definitely. I like tlou but... it's just not twd.
Season 3! I'm not really aboard The Last of Us hype train tbh.
I'm excited for both. But as a big fan of Naughty Dog and how disappointing TWD Season 2 was, I'm excited for TLOU 2 more.
When do you plan on playing TLOU? After releasing Season 3?
Did you mean when S3 gets released?
So TLoU is basically a rip off of TWD season one..but the little girl in it is a potty mouth... Hmmm I think I will stick with TWD.

Uh...no
I've got Christmas break coming up in about a week, I was planning on doing it then.
I hadn't heard TT say anything on the subject for a while, so I'm just hoping it's still coming.
Definitely TWD. This series has a stronger place in my heart. Luckily, in time, I will play both.

Never played TLOU, so TWD.
I agree. It definitely felt like it.
A New Frontier is Season 3
Episode 1 and 2 both release on December 20th, preorders are already live.

Dude. The Last of Us was in development since 2009, why would Naughty Dog copy something from Telltale?
100% Not true. The Last of Us was in development since 2009, why would Naughty Dog copy something from Telltale?

A ghost from the future came to them one night and told them to
I heard that instead of TLOU, it was supposed to be a new Jak and Daxter game but they changed their minds for some reason.
Good lord
my prediction was CORRECT

We'll still be playing as Clementine in "A New Frontier", just not constantly.

Crash Bandicoot.
