My guess, regarding the 2-parter
I remember hearing that Telltale is releasing 2 episodes on the 20th because it's supposed to be a 2-parter. If that's true, then I'm guessing that 1 of the episodes will be from Javier's point of view and will cover his backstory. The other episode will be from Clem's point of view and will cover what's happened to her between seasons 2 and 3.
Episode 2, if not both episodes, will end with Javier meeting Clem.
That's just my theory. What do you guys think?

I doubt either episodes will focus ONLY on Clem or Javier. For one, it would mean an entire episode wouldnt move the main plot anywhere, and an entire episode would be worthless for people who didnt play the first 2 games.
I don't know. I honestly don't see Javier's backstory and Clem's flashbacks being that long and take up two entire episodes. That would leave only 3 episodes to tell the present time's story. And I'm not sure Telltale would give us two episodes with nothing but flashbacks either, that would ruin the pacing of the game.
I think Javier's backstory will be shown to us on the first episode, probably before he meets Clem, but when it comes to Clem's flashbacks I think Telltale are going to balance it out, specially because they are probably aware that we all want to know what happened at the end of season 2, how Clem can potentially lose a finger (and how), etc. and I don't think Telltale would just show all of that in the first two episodes. I have a feeling they will drag it out for as long as they can to keep the players hooked. Some of Clem's flashbacks might be triggered by conversations with Javier, when he asks about her past and such, so I see it as a back and forth: present time we play as Javier, and then play as Clem in her flashbacks. Or, you know, I could be completely wrong too. Lol
