Definitely unmasked. I thought it might spare Alfred from some harm, plus it made the fight with Vicki incredibly personal. Oh yeah, and Bruce's ear. Haha.
I though it was in character, as up until that point I had played him as viewing Alfred as more father-figure than butler. He wasn't about to let Alfred get injured/killed.
Also I wanted to see what Lady Arkham's reaction would be. I figured she'd get triggered, and that it would make for a more fun fight scene.
I had a feeling it would come to this the moment Batman smashed Vicki's mask. Before the final fight started, one question kept going through my mind "Am I willing to give up my identity?"
And when the moment came, I did. I removed the cowl, and things just got way more personal.

I wanted to save Alfred but also the 'chance to redeem a villain' popped up in my head. Thought maybe she'd realize if Bruce was Batman that he's actually completely different than his father even saying "my father was wrong" and trying to talk her down... of course this doesn't work... At the end I thought there would be a choice to save her or just let her rot in Arkham... sadly this didn't happen... but still great finale.
I removed the mask. There was no other option for me, at least. My heart was thumping in my chest, and following her orders seemed the surest way to ensure that Alfred makes it out without another scratch. I knew it could potentially back-fire, but thankfully I got my family out alive.
Vicki's reaction to seeing Bruce was all I imagined it would be. The scenes involving Vicki were so strong this episode, and I'm reeling too much to articulate my thoughts. But with all Vicki has endured, the hand the Wayne's played, with combination of who Bruce Wayne is to the public, the privileged playboy, just made for some incredibly gripping scenes. Smaller, but I believe I actually screamed when the ear got shot off.

I didn't remove it, purely on the basis that I wanted to keep my secret. Of course, then Vicki goes and dies, so really... I could have spared Alfred a missing eye.
That bit at the end where he knocks over the bottle and is so shaken and apologizing because he's having problems because someone out to hurt you shot out his eye because you wouldn't even unmask to prove you care about him...heartbreaking.

I did to save Alfred in the heat of the moment. I basically way saying "You want to hurt my adopted father, this is the face of a man that is seeking vengeance." Though there was a chance that it would backfire, I took it. Basically if I kept the mask on, she would kill Alfred out of anger. I took the chance as before I was getting inside her head by reminding her of her parents. I took this chance that it would distract her and it did.
I also forgot to add that as a bonus to unmasking, Vicki sees that we make our own choices as adults. Here was Bruce, a man from a crime mafia family, that grows up to be a just man that seeks justice. This hits Vicki that maybe she was wrong, just as I had hoped for. She let her childhood demons consume her and yet Bruce overcame his and became a better person. Earlier when we were masked I told her that I know why she killed her parents, they tortured her and that wasn't right and yet repeating history would change nothing. Then when we were unmasked, I told her that my father was a monster and as Batman, I try to make up for his mistakes in Gotham every night. This completely blew her mind.
I unmasked. I did it for Alfred and because in my canon playthough, I have always seen Batman as a mask that Bruce was wearing. By unmasking, Bruce fought Lady Arkham not as Batman, but as his true self, Bruce Wayne, the true hero of Gotham.
I feel like unmasking would make things much more interesting.
Vicky felt some admiration for Batman, but she hated Bruce's guts. It was … moreworth it to see her so confused and to spare Alfred. I have no regrets.
The obviously full of bull explanation Bruce gave Gordon for the injury was funny in an awkward way, too.
At least Vicki, unlike certain people I could mention, started getting suspicious when you and Alfred were clearly close and accepted Bruce was Batman when it was blindingly obvious.
Yeah it did. Two similar and troubled people fighting without their masks. It was an incredible fight. I'm going to watch it right now on YouTube again lol.

I didn't remove the mask and immediately regretted it. At least Alfred is one eye buddies with Kenny and Grendel now.
I did, and I take pleasure knowing that most everyone else here did too. It just made the scene way more climactic.
