Purchasing dilemma
So, I'm faced with a bit of stupid dilemma here and I'm hoping others are unsure as well, so I can feel a little less stupid.
My 'dilemma' is this:
Back when Batman was released, I settled for the PS4 version because I wasn't sure my Laptop would handle it. And I didn't regret it after hearing about how poorly it ran on the pc.
My laptop's specs are as follows (and Batman's specs seemed to have changed since release due to the recent patch, making them the same as TWD S3's system reqs):
2.5 ghz quad core processor (i7-4710MQ) and 8gb ram, nvidia geforce gtx 860m with 4gb ram. So, not the best laptop, but not absolute rubbish.
However, I recently tried the free episode of Batman on my laptop after the patch. It seems to work fine. Still, I'm unsure what to do, in case TWD S3 is a mess at launch like Batman supposedly was. I know TWD S3 will have the same customisation options that Batman did.
Now on the PS4, TWD S3 is £8 dearer. I own TWD S1 (with 400 days) and TWD S2 on Steam, along with Michonne. However, if I purchase it on the PS4, I get a backup copy of Michonne and TWD S2 in case my laptop breaks down. It is, if I settle for this, also tempting to buy TWD S1 while it's reduced. I feel I'd be wasting my money, considering I own it on Steam, but I must admit I like playing with controllers and I like not having to be hunched over my laptop to play it (plus, as I appreciate the story and it's one of the few games I'd like to keep for . . . well, forever, like a lot of telltale's stuff, I don't mind paying again depsite it possibly being a good idea to save my limited funds for the steam sale).
So, after this long'ish post about nothing in particular, I'm not really seeking advice. I guess only I can make the decision, but is anyone at least struggling with the decision of what to buy it on too, due to the technical issues Batman supposedly suffered from? And what version are you settling for?
PS: I noticed that Batman on the PS4, particularly at the start of episode 5, suffered from frame-rate issues. Also, there was a rather funny bug towards the end of it where a character was simply a floating mouth and eyeballs. 
But at least I don't have to worry about system configurations despite being quite sure my laptop can run it.
