Understandable, but if it's going to be a monthly thing, then devided the cost per month when it comes out. Like World of Warcraft, you pay for the month you are using an not 6-12 months to come.
Doesn't World of Warcraft let you play for the next 6-12 months at once? And doesn't this let you pay for only one episode at a time?
If nothing else, the episodic approach gives them time to fix the framerate issues for the next episodes of the Wii version.
The general concensus is that the episodes may available individually soon, although this has not been confirmed yet by TTG.
And for all those wondering what to do while they wait - have you played TTGs other games? The ones I have played have all been superb and with free episodes and discount codes they are incredible value. e.g. W&G season 1 for $15!
The way I see it: Bring out the entire game, and if episodes can be added to it, fine with that. It's like going to see a movie, you don't see the first 15 min and must come back in a month. But once you watch the entire movie and gives you a hint about the next movie to come, that seem's more interesting.
No it's not. It's more like lord of the rings, but on a tighter schedule. Each film was linked to the rest and you were left hanging between films as to what became of your favourite hobbits. The average playtime for TMI C1 is about 3-4 hours, not 15 minutes.
Also, as mentioned before, if you are not a fan of episodic gameplay, just buy the whole game in november.
I hate episodic releases and single releases. I hate waiting and I hate getting it early. I hate games and electricity. Why doesn't TellTale just release a tin of diarrhea and a puppy sandwich instead? Goddamn you TellTale, you make me want to die.
Don't let me stop you! We have a serious problem here, because I hate tins of diarrhea and I'm alergic to puppy sandwiches. If they ever dare to sell something like that, I'll have to blow up their headquaters!
