Does importing actually do less than creating manually?
SEASON 2 SPOILERS.
Even if it's not intentional? An oversight perhaps? Anyone dedicated to finding out? While trying to figure out why I was unable to get my save to work on Xbox One I came across something that had me paranoid. I noticed the "breakdown" of my import save was less detailed than when I actually created a backstory myself.
My save-Aj, Kenny and Clem go to Wellington. Then leave alone.
Manual-Clem keeps a level head....is compassionate in a cruel world. Clem watched Jane provoke a fight with Kenny that ended in her death. Aj, Kenny, and Clem go to Wellington and leave together.
Normally I would just assume theres no way only THAT little of what happened actually matters for season 3. But the fact the tiny paragraph was different depending on how I did it has me wondering. So there is a chance manually creating a story is better than importing?
Also why are you guys closing any topic people post about support? It's completely counter intuitive to not allow people the chance to solve the issue amongst themselves rather than forcing them to do some drawn out process that probably won't even work. I see a bunch of people having issues with importing saves and im betting 90% of those people made the same mistake I did. You still have to upload the save onto the website even if your imported save is on the same system your playing season 3 on. That had me confused for a few minutes as I only thought that applied to people going from last gen to current.

Yeah i couldnt import my save file from xbox even though i tried all the steps apart from Press Save option since there wasnt any option to do so so i just had to use Twd quiz thingy
Right, I figured that out. Problem was you actually had to upload the save even if its on the same system. Seemed kinda dumb it worked that way. I could swear playing season 2 simply took the save directly from your HD for season 1.
But what I am primarily wondering about is if the differences in that tiny breakdown actually mean anything or not?
