S3 Create your own story

So, my save files for Season 2 have been lost somehere along the wait for Season 3, with no way to retreive them. How well can the "Create your own story" mechanic at the beginnning of S3 replace them? Are there any choices made in Season 2 that i can't replace with the "Create your own story" thingy, and would be important in season 3?

    There are a lot of choices in Season 2 that you can't recreate. That said, when you recreate the story you get a screen telling you the Clementine you've created, which I guess they deduce through their algorithm. The description I got was MY Clementine exactly, which was really cool
