[Spoilers] Would you still always side with Clementine if you didn't know her?

Think as if you are new to Season 3, you've never heard of Clementine before.

She is a stranger that robbed you and pointed a gun at you, hell, she even threatened to shoot you.

Would you side with her after she shot that guy in the bar?
I mean, it was an accident, you can tell the truth, is not like they are going to kill her, will you really lie for a stranger that just pointed a gun at you and is forcing you to give her your van?

Would you stay with her killing the guys from the New Frontier instead of leaving her to go with Kate and Gabe?
This could be easily justified if you are playing a Javier that considers revenge/justice as something good, but would you just stay with a stranger killing people instead of helping a dying Kate?

Would you still side with her after knowing she is part of the New Frontier?
That is a HUGE thing, the new girl you just met is part of the group who killed your niece, all the people in Prescott, etc. I am not talking about accepting the deal with Conrad, he is an ass and point a gun at Gabe, but I bet you immediately say "I trust you again" after Clementine showed you the mark.

How biased are your decisions? I guess the only person who can be objective this season is someone who is new to the series.

    I'm biased, but that's why I'm playing a 2nd playthrough.

    Putting aside my bias:

Would you side with her after she shot that guy in the bar?

Yeah. He cheated her & she fired once inside unsuccessfully to prove it. The 2nd successful shot, I think, was unexpected. Either way, he had it coming.

Would you stay with her killing the guys from the New Frontier instead of leaving her to go with Kate and Gabe?

2nd playthrough, I left with my family. They would be more important to Javier.

Would you still side with her after knowing she is part of the New Frontier?

I would be skeptical, but give her a chance. Don't see what she would get out of betraying strangers that have nothing to offer the New Frontier.

  • Nope. My first playthrough, I'm trying to make choices based on what I think would be most important to Javier. So, I didn't lie for Clementine when she shot that guy, and I chose to escape the junkyard with Javier's family instead of stay behind with Clem.

Second playthrough, I'll be doing the opposite!

  • Unlikely, I would have no attachment or investment in a new character.

  • Probably. I tend to side with the people who sound like they know what the hell they are doing.
