About AJ (Spoilers)
Okay. Just played both episodes and I loved them. My favorite bits were the parts with Clementine. Playing as her I mean. The bits with her and AJ made me kind of emotional. But seeing that he is not with Clem in the present day, I'm starting to worry that something bad happened to him. Anyone have any thoughts or theories? I mean I'm guessing something happened with the New Frontier and Clem that resulted in Aj's death, which I hope didn't happen. I just don't like it when really young kids, like toddlers are killed. Plus I was kind of hoping Clem would become the new Lee and AJ the new Clementine.

Maybe it was just me, but when it was revealed that the New Frontier took Richmond, I assumed that the reason that Clem freaked out (the breathing thing) was her trying to react to the news and not freaking out uncharacteristically. Largely because AJ was being taken care in Richmond.
This led to her thinking more about the New Frontier and revealing the thing to Javier before leaving on her own. If I have to speculate, I think she left to infiltrate Richmond on her own and try to find clues on what happened to AJ, which will be how/when we run into her in Episode 3.
I doubt AJ's dead, most likely, he's at Richmond. You see in Episode 2, when Jesus says that Richmond was taken over by the New Frontier, Clem has a look of panic and nervousness on her face, walks away from the group, and takes several deep breathes to calm herself down. While the news of Richmond falling was upsetting, it wouldn't have garnered that type of reaction unless someone Clementine cared about was there.
AJ is really a mystery for me at this point. Given how easily Telltale killed of Kenny & Jane, I feel like they def. have bigger plans for AJ which they're probably going to explore throughout the flashbacks. (So I don't think he's dead cause otherwise that would be pretty lame and pointless..)
I thought that maybe they were keeping him at the New Frontier then, but I feel like Clementine would put way more effort into getting him back rather than fleeing with the first car she can possibly get her hands on.
So who knows.. I do hope he's fine tho
I think she gave AJ to the new frontier for his own safety since she felt she couldn't provide him that care and comfort or something went down, and they took AJ by force. I definitely think we'll get another flashback in episode 3 all about it.
Maybe the New Frontier kidnapped AJ
It might be too dark for them to show aj's death if it does happen so it might be an offscreen thing but hopefully he's safe, my only guess is that he is with TNF / Richmond.
Hmm. You know? I think you may be right. I mean that reaction seemed really out of nowhere. At first I thought she was panicking about the New Frontier or something, but AJ being there makes more sense. I know I probably shouldn't be surprised if they do kill of a toddler, I mean Judith was killed in the comics, and Duck, Sarah, ect shows kids are not immune in the zombie apocalypse. It's just I got really emotional during the whole finding AJ in the car scene, and the Clementine Alone ending just felt really strong to me with Clem and a baby braving through a herd of walkers. I guess I will have to wait until episode 3 rolls around to find out more.
