What do you think about Paul (Jesus)
I should probably call him Jesus, but then the question would be what you think about Jesus Christ.
So how do you think Jesus was handled in Episode 2? Do you like him? Do like his voice? What do you think about having him in the game?
To me, on one hand, I am not entirely sure about having a comic character in the game. The fact that I know he is a safe character, just doesn't make me worried about him. On the other hand, his presence just makes me calm and secured, because he is a very competent survivor and you know that he is a cool and nice guy.
Also I like his voice. Considering he is voiced by Brandon Keener who voiced Garrus in Mass Effect, his voice is so damn cool.

Not familiar with the comics all that much so when he revealed his nickname I had to laugh. Guy's cool, being voiced by Brandon Keener is a bonus. Cue the "Garrus is Jesus" jokes that have already been cropping up.
Having Garrus Vakarian in a Telltale game is probably the greatest thing in the world for me, seeing as TWD and Mass Effect are two of my favorite video game franchises.
As for Jesus himself, I think he's a pretty good character to have around so far. I'm usually not the biggest fan of having comic characters in TWDG, but they've handled him pretty well.
Hate the character, find his behavior weird and his lines and fight moves cringey. Thats not telltales fault though the character is like that in all formats.
What? No way
I mean, we hardly see anything to him. He makes a decoy, fogets to introduce himself and kicks a walker. Seems smart and capable enough if anything, but it was like, 20 minutes. I need a second date.
I dislike his presence because he is literally immortal, he removes any sense of tension or urgency, but that's no fault of the character just that the developers decided to include him at all.
I immediately heard garrus as well and even though he looked just like jesus i thought he was just a look a-like until he introduced himself. Very Jesus introduction as well i might add.
I dont like having plot armored characters because i dont feel they add much to the story so much as a cameo for twd fans which isn't really a bad thing but against my preference.
like the risk of his actions aren't going to be suspenseful to me and i have a pre-inclination to his character when Javi and the crew should be more wary of him. I go into auto-trust mode. Especially if he becomes integral to whats happening in the story.
Like Glen was just kind of there on season 1 then he dips. If you removed his character from season 1 the player wouldnt miss much
My favorite character from the comics
I couldn't really focus on Jesus himself because I kept thinking about Garrus, the best cinnamon roll from Mass Effect.
We didn't see much of him, but I like his moves. And he's one of my favourites from the comics.
Jesus: "I'm Paul, but my friends call me-..."
Me: "Garrus!"
Jesus: "...- Jesus"
Me: Frowns "Ohh..."
I like him, but there are some things I'm a bit uncomfortable with. The plot armor will annoy me for as long as he is in the story. Also, Jesus was accepted into the group rather quickly without hardly knowing a thing about him. I realize there was really no time to ask him anything, but I blame that on TT's short ass episodes. Still he's cool, mind as well be Garrus (which is awesome), and had a great intro.
Well you can tie him up and he does save gabes life.
True, but I meant getting to know the guy. I know he's awesome, I would like to know how he got so awesome.
To be fair Tripp and the others hardly know Javier and he's positioned as the leader by the end of the episodes.
I didn't like the crossover. I instantly thought, please don't let there be a Negan in the game! Stay away from the TV or the comics as much as possible. The game handles story telling so much better than the rest of TWD universe.
