my only problems ... (Spoilers)

im honestly surprised by the amount of hate the start of season 3 has received i understand peoples frustration for the things that happened in the flashbacks. The deaths were cheap especially kennys but so far ive really enjoyed it

the only real problems i have is

1 . the amount of time it takes for any news regarding future episodes and the amount of time you have to wait for episodes to be released ive been playing telltales games since the first day the walking dead season 1 episode 1 was released and so far this hasnt changed :(

  1. the episode lengths seem to be getting shorter i remember back in season 1 it would take like 1 hour and 30 mins - 2 hours each episode

  • I agree, I've been playing since season 1 episode 1 and I'm always looking forward to the next episode/season as the walking dead is my favourite game

  • I too would like longer episodes(110 mins or above)

  • I enjoyed episode 1 a bit more after replaying it despite my initial disappointment. I still do not like episode 2, though, as short as it was I felt like I spent more time in action sequences than I did with the characters, it really should have focused more on the characters.

I'm already struggling to like them as much as I'm apparently expected to because Javiers their family. I like Tripp, he seems like pretty cool people. And I'll admit, Mari was a sweetheart and I smiled a little bit when she came out of hiding in the junk yard and tells me she did what I told her to do. Then we move over to dipshits A and B, locked in a tractor surrounded by walkers smh. I'm cautious with Eleanor, though that may be because of Clem. Clem had a really good intro, I loved it and her interactions with Javier. Definite highlight of the episode for me. So it was really disappointing that she's pretty much in the background for most of episode 2 until we get her flashback tie in reveal about New Frontier. Oh, and Conrad. Had a stick up his ass about Clementine for a while there, but really, you lose your stuff when you find out she was a former member, and want to bargain her back this group that just murdered your wife and how many people in your community? Even if I wasn't going to automatically side with Clem, why in the world would you think it's a good idea to threaten another kid at gunpoint, who happens to be the nephew of the guy you're trying to convince? Jesus was alright, love that they got Garrus.

But yea, 1 was a good start. Two was just horribly unnecessary as an episode and should have been included in 1. Now we've got 3 episodes left to get through Javiers upcoming confrontation, Clementines story and whatever its building to, and if these episodes are any indication, TTs going to wrapping this all up with about 3-4 hours of gameplay. I'm wary.

  • yeah i was under the impression they said episode 1 was a 2 parter and that the 2 episodes we got were episodes 1 part 1 and 2 not episode 1 and 2 seeing as how episode 2 felt considerably shorter than episode 1

  • The Kenny flashback was a disgrace to the series. But since I picked the ending where he leaves, my reaction of these 2 episodes weren't affected by that (in till i came online) Clem does feel a little bit forced. If she was cut the story might be better I have to admit. But so far I like what they've done.

  • The only good thing about the Kenny flashback is the fact that Kenny got to be a part of AJ's life for longer.

I just replayed with the Wellington ending, but Clementine still mentioned Kenny to Javier in the tow truck hub rather than Edith, but she did also mention "then there were others."

Obviously wish all the flashbacks were different, but as they are I kinda lean towards Wellington. At least I can imagine that Kenny is out there somewhere saving someone else's baby...
