    I think she meant in supplies such as food,water, first aid and ammunition and protection, maybe they also offered to care for AJ

    It's 100% not that. The option of refusing is after she says those things. I think it had to do something with her or AJ.

    Yeah I think they said they could take care of AJ and maybe AJ is now stuck with them, that's why Clem was so shocked when Jesus said that Richmond was captured by The New Frontier

    I'd like to think that somehow that girl was persuasive and they had a thing. Then you realize that clem is still like 13 and that girl might be in mid 20s at the least.

    Writing this just made me more hype for The Last Of Us Part 2
