Wellington...

The Wellington flashback was probably the best out of the flashbacks we were given. But the biggest problem I have with it, how exactly was it destroyed? You see three vehicles approach Wellington. Wellington, the community that was over capacity. How can an entire community full of people not stop the attackers, especially since there weren't that many?

  • Wellington Ending Master Race reporting in.

Who knows. We do know Clementine and AJ were there for over a year. Plenty can happen in that space. It might have been that Wellington was stuck in a 'war' with another group and had lost some of its best people and resources as a result.

S3 does seem to have an issue with settlements crumbling at the blow of the wind though. Wellington, Prescott, Richmond apparently. Kinda annoying.

  • Maybe Wellington didn't have a lot of fighters.

  • Maybe they weren't allowed weapons in the community unless they had an important role also maybe walkers got in as they heard the noise once the doors were knocked down

  • "Oh man we finally found a community!"

Well, for the same reason the people in Prescott weren't able to defend themselves from fucking walkers, they've been dealing with walkers since the beginning of the outbreak. I guess if you spent too much time being weak in that kind of world you end up dead.

  • Just to write it off so we can have Clementine alone and then join The New Frontier. Simple as that. The same excuse can be used for the Jane or Kenny ending.
