When you have to decide whether to let Conrad take Clementine or shoot him, if you do nothing and let time run out, he will shoot Gabe
and then shoot you.

I sold Clementine down the river...she gave me some nasty looks...of course I started out on the wrong foot with her...she even stole that candy bar.

Already an easy choice. However I am surprised by how many people apparently let the timer run out. Are people that scared of making a decision?

She stole the candy bar for you? For me she always put it back. Also I never did it because

1. Clementine isn't exactly like in cahoots with A New Frontier, she's clearly ran away and from what I can tell, for good reason.
2. Conrad decided "I know the best way to convince Javier...By holding his nephew hostage at gunpoint." Yeah, sorry Conrad, but putting my family in danger does not a persuasive argument make.
3. Clementine has saved Javier's life and decided not to shoot him at once despite her point of being able to shoot Javier and just heading to the junkyard to steal the truck applying to any other mean-spirited bandit that could have taken advantage of Javier.
